CPU Pitching & Fielding

The CPU pitching and fielding is beyond annoying. The amount of super dotting, nibbling just off the edges, perfect perfect line outs, running down fly balls, and super dives are completely out of control even on lower difficulties. Grinding has become a drawn out tedious process. Not looking for meatballs down the middle or a handout but the game is not designed to just hop on and play. It’s become a slog just to knock out basic missions within a reasonable time frame.

Last year, the cpu was awful. The usually hung every 2nd to 3rd pitch as a meatball and played horrendously in the field.
This year: Way better pitching and lights out fielding.
@SDS: Please balance this out a little more.

For real, and it’s not just in DD, I play franchise with dynamic difficulty and if you hit a few homers and get pushed to All-Star every pitcher is Roger Maddux, blowing you away with even low 90s and almost every pitch is perfectly placed. I don’t know what’s going on there is no consistency, I’ll be stuck on All-Star until they’ve dismantled me, get a runner on base then say goodbye, they tighten up harder than before. My pitching is on legend and they get cheap sometimes but I win a lot of low scoring games just hoping hitting goes back to veteran for even part of a game so I can enjoy the game for a minute. Not wanting nothing but gopher balls but would be great to have a pitcher live a little more in the zone so I’m not taking and chasing everything.

Yeah it’s wild how bad they are at such obvious things. And how some issues go unfixed for years. Their incompetence blows my mind.. like bronze defenders routinely make diving plays, yet my silver infielders walk towards grounders that just roll past them. Honestly how is it even possible that a game a company makes (and literally the ONLY game they make) EVERY year can have the same issues go unfixed?? SDS is becoming worse than EA, other than the money grabbing part. But I’m sure they’ll get there eventually too. Keep sucking at life, SDS!

@YOSHI24_XBL I literally commented on the ridiculous fielding. I didn’t respect the OP or thread? What are you even on about?? Go cry about it you child.. you are literally the softest person ever. And there’s nothing worse than people who defend incompetence and laziness by greedy companies who obviously don’t give a [censored]. People like you are one of the reasons problems never get fixed.
