Never-mind. I found it. My God my eyesight has turned to shite with age!
Sorry
My apologies if this has been discussed but the map has been completed, but it says I have "154/155" territories conquered. The entire map has been completed and I keep getting a message stating "none of your territories are able to attack."
Anyone have any clue what the deal is?
I was thinking I had to play it multiple times. That seemed like the only option remaining. Thanks for clarifying.
So the program says I should have gotten a player or 2 like Cade Horton by completing the Shodown. I completed the Shodown but did not get those players. Do I need to play it again or what?
@TheGoaler_MLBTS The reason I wore #14.
Played every game like it was the last.
Cooperstown has made a LOT of money off both. If they are going to display those players' equipment and draw attention to their accomplishments as a way to make money, both should be allowed in.
It has been nothing more than HR Derby since '18 or '19.
All of these jacked up cards with completely unrealistic attributes has really hurt the game IMO.
I decided to not play much online this year and have only played around 15 RS games I believe, but nothing has changed. I played someone the other night and we scored 26 combined runs. I'd guess 20 were the result of HRs.
It seems like pitching just doesn't really matter a great deal, or atleast as much as hitting attributes do. There are some players that can hit any ball if they can reach it with their PCI.
Had it happen on many. You get the final reward, it's completed.
@Loyal-Wiglaf_XBL SDS has gone really overboard with their rankings. It really started in '19 IIRC. They wanted to pump out more content but there just aren't enough high end cards to make it feasible,
The solution, give out cards with completely unrealistic attribute rankings and give em' a fancy name like the "Kaiju" series or whatever that ridiculousness was last year.
It has made the game even more of a HR derby than it used to be.
I've played very little RS this year for many reasons, with that specifically being one of them.
I played a game earlier where my opponent and I scored 26 runs combined. I'd wager 23 were the result of HRs.
HRs are great and all, but I'd like my baseball simulation game to actually play a bit closer to an actual simulation
@GoozeFn_PSN I could live with there being two seasons, with the first ending at the AS break or the TDL.
SDS still gets their seasons, but the players don't have to start over multiple times.
@BJDUBBYAH_PSN I am fully aware that I can use any card to play against the CPU.
I am also aware that I was wanting to play a few ranked games, so .......
@nflman2033_MLBTS Agreed.
@BJDUBBYAH_PSN I was referring to the season as in the MLB 24 release. Not SDS's idiotic "seasons."
I've played very little this season but had decided to do some grinding on programs to see if I could build up a team to play a few ranked games.
The "Action figure" players were pretty good cards and allowed me to build a good team. Too bad I never had the opportunity to use them.
Now all I have to use are LS players once again and a few Core cards. To be honest, I guess they are better than this out of position nonsense they just released.
WTF happened to you SDS?
Is there a way to post a video clip in here? Next time it occurs I will video it and post if so.
Yeah, not very popular idea IMO.
@jake98833_PSN This isn't drift.
@sbchamps17_NSW I have 4 stock PS5 controllers. It has occurred on every single one of them at one time or another going back to last season's game edition.
Additionally, I currently use the DyalSense Edge controller, and I have replaced the sticks with new modules (3 different sets total) and it still occurs at random times.
@TEXAS10PT_PSN My controller is perfectly fine. I have zero issues with any of my controllers while playing any other game. What I am talking about is 100% not a controller issue. It is an MLB The Show issue.
Last season was when it first started happening to players. It occurs intermittently. Sometime, I can play for hours with no issue only to have it begin mid game. Other times, it will begin within the first game I play. I can play the '22 version of the game and no problem. I can play all my other non baseball games without issue. MLB 23 or24 it happens.
This issue has absolutely nothing to do with the controllers as they all were perfectly on every other game.
Additionally, this issue only occurs while pitching or batting as I am able to control my fielders without any problem.
I use Strike Zone for both pitching and hitting and that is the only time it occurs.
@Crimson_Monk_PSN No, it isn't a controller issue.
