First, 100.00 worth of packs is a VERY bad strategy. Second,, what would you have done with offline modes? It's baseball. There's only so much that can be done with it.

Report yourself while you're at it for listing a player's username in the forum.
If you kept throwing balls "in the dirt" you made hitting against you very easy. All he had to do was keep the PCI low and wait.

I've played very little this season but had decided to do some grinding on programs to see if I could build up a team to play a few ranked games.
The "Action figure" players were pretty good cards and allowed me to build a good team. Too bad I never had the opportunity to use them.
Now all I have to use are LS players once again and a few Core cards. To be honest, I guess they are better than this out of position nonsense they just released.
WTF happened to you SDS?

Coding is hard okay, just give these guys over at SDS some slack they've been trying really really hard and because of Covid and inflation and everything they just haven't really figured it out yet but thank God the content is so great they always deliver. 10/10.
They bombed on content this year as well. Next year it will be 99s across the board. Martin Maldonado will have 125 L & R contact and high 90s power, 118 vision and will be an end game card that you can only use for the first season. SDS will make up for it with the Chupacabra series and every card will have an image of the player mauling a goat. Mothra program is coming soon!

All my players suck.
Basically because I'm the one controlling them and I suck!!
-
Been gaming for nearly 45 years and have broken numerous controllers.
In fact, I swing by the pawn shop about once every 3 months and pick up a few for a buck each just so I can walk on to my patio when the frustration reaches " breaking point" and release my anger without blowing 40$.
Very therapeutic and highly recommended. -
Maybe we (older folks 40+) should start an "Old Timers League".
-
Lefty on the mound. I start a pitch to the inside 1/3 of the zone to a R hitter. Ball breaks 6 inches too far inside for a ball. I file that away in my mental rolodex.
Next time I throw that pitch (A primary pitch mind you), I remember that it broke too far inside last time I threw it. This time, I'll start it a little farther outside so it breaks near the black inside the zone.
It doesn't break at all.
C'mon SDS, You don't have to write an entirely new program every year, just tweak the existing program. Yet, for some reason there's always a patch that may fix one issue to a degree but always seems to make another issue worse.
Just to clarify, I was using FOTF Snell. -
Unless SDS expands WC slots by adding one each season. Never can tell what they'll do.

And I fall for it EVERY YEAR!!!
Probably will next year, too.And that's why they are becoming EA 2.0. I didn't get 22, and didn't get 23. I see nothing that makes me want 24 at the moment.
All those people foolishly payed for "early access". From what I see early access equals "half a game". They still haven't fixed anything other that what costs SDS money via microtransactions.
Until people stop buying until the game is complete and bug free they won't bother to fix ANYTHING, and why should they? If someone is going to pay full price for a broken game, where is their motivation to change?
To be honest, I have NEVER played a game that didn't have some type of bug or glitch, and that is fine. However, once the Devs have been made aware of said bug/glitch, FIX it!
I am certain they spend a great deal of time getting new content drops ready to roll but it seems little time addressing a lot of the bugs being encountered.
The Mini season roster issue has been going on since release and is still occurring. That is just poor customer service. Give out a specified number of TA vouchers to every player and then shut Mini seasons down so it can be de-bugged if that is what must happen to fix it.
Bottom line is there are steps that can be taken to fix some of these issues but SDS, it seems, has chosen to ignore them.
If you were Pinocchio your nose would be about 12 inches long because I doubt you encounter a bug every single game.
I’ve played thousands of games since I had what I’ve seen what was described above years ago in San Diego in left against the warehouse. So long ago this forum and bug reports didn’t exist.
My nose, would be exactly the same size it has always been. Every game I have ever played for any length of time has had a "bug" or a "glitch". COD, Battlefield, NBA, MLBTS, Star Wars, Gran Turismo, Rainbow 6, Madden, Pitfall, Frogger, Pong, Super Mario Bros., etc.. all have bugs or glitches. Ive been playing video games since the late 70s, so, going as far back as the Atari 2600, 5200, Nintendo, Genesis, PS 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5, every game has some sort of bug or glitch. It may be minor like instead of walking through water, the character looks like they're walking on the water, or it can be something like being able to run the same play over & over in Techmo or hitting the jumping out of bounds 3 pointer from the baseline. EVERY game has a glitch or a bug.
What I did not say, was that I experience a bug or glitch every time I play a specific game.
BTW, your last paragraph, complete gibberish.

Enough with the fantasy land cards with overly exaggerated attribute ratings. Most of all, stop giving pitchers pitches they don't throw just because it fits some type of meta in the game.

I just opened the following:
70 Show packs
12 BIAH
1 Jumbo
9 Diamond Duo.Pulled 1 LS 85 Chisholm.
Disgraceful.

So what's the price over/under on his new card once the stub sale inflation dies down?
Been hoping to pull him and have gotten 3 Chase packs but no luck. I have the stubs but half a million is quite a bit to drop on a card that may not be used after the next season.
I'm 0 for 18 on chase packs for him so far so I personally don't see his price dropping significantly at all anytime soon but here's to hoping!
When you least expect it. I went through the game and did a bunch of small collections like 5 gloves, 10 bats, 3 socks, etc.. and wound up with like 15 free packs. First pack I opened had a Chase pack with Mantle. Couldn't believe it.

So I’m basically boosting the stats I need for prestige belli in the event and some people are assholes, like my team names says “ let me homer with belli and I’ll quit “ and people would just not care , I mean I understand others trick people into giving up homers but When they up at bat I I give them homers with cards they need prestige . I’m just saying as community we should help each other out
Posting that u are Boosting is a really good way to get banned quickly. FYI, Boosting is against the TOS. Probably shouldn't advertise it.

You stated, "The game is boring since you basically did nothing to offline modes".
My question is, what would you have done to the offline modes to improve them?
Yes, those YouTubers do show videos where they're pulling diamonds. However, they don't usually show the countless packs ripped where they get nothing. If we could get 5-7 diamonds everytime someone spent 100.00 the market would be flooded and prices would be cheap. That's great for the players that spend money on stubs and packs but hurts those of us that work the market to complete the collections. I enjoy working the market about as much as playing the game. Sometimes, I enjoy it more than playing.
-
Unfortunately, demand for those cards is high so the price is high. You have to complete the 25 card collection to get Buxton. Glad I hung on to em'.
-
Imagine if Judge, Carew, Rose, Brock, Ruth, Berra all quit playing every time they squared up a ball perfectly and the result was a deep out or a lone out. I'm not sure how many times that had happened to EVERY person who has played baseball for any significant period of time throughout their lives but, I'd be willing to bet it was more than 25 at the bare minimum for your average HS player, 75 for a college player, and well over 500 for a professional.
The point is, everybody wants a baseball simulation but they also seem to want arcade style hitting and scoring. You can't have it both ways.

And people will still say everything is great and the complainers just need to stop whining!
I honestly can't put my finger on the "overall" problem as there seem to be so many small issues that in and of themselves aren't a big deal, but when you experience multiple of those small issues in one session, it takes away a lot of the joy and replaces it with irritation.
Hitting seemed to be pretty good the first week or so with balls hit in the gaps but at some point it just reverted back to HR derby. Some will say the cards being used at that time weren't as powerful but pretty much everyone playing RS had a team full of 97s at the minimum.
Small things like the dam teleporting perfect pitch that is still occurring, and does so at the most inopportune moment is ridiculous.
Not allowing us to use the players we want when we want has made me not want to play as much because I'm being forced to use cards I have no interest in using.
No sell rewards is another one that continues to be pushed too far as well. I get the Flawless and WS program rewards being no sell. I don't like it, but I get it. Making event cards and POTM cards no sell seems a bit pointless though. I won't be surprised if all cards pulled from "free" or packs earned from grinding are no sell and only cards you purchased from the market or from packs purchased will be sellable at some point.
Think SDS needs to get back to basics and stop focusing so much on new content drops every week with lame programs that are only spitting out rewards of previously released cards with different art and completely made up attribute ratings.
I still play, and will continue to do so but it just seems the Devs have lost their focus.

I agree completely. I wish that they either rebuilt this game from the ground up moving forward for current gen only (PS5/XBX/S) or make two separate games like NBA2K does for current gen and previous gen. This game has so much potential and yet they are satisfied with the release of a mediocre copy/paste job year in year out.
Unfortunately, SDS will continue with patches on small issues like team names not showing up in some modes instead of the big picture.
The fact that SDS included multiple mini season modes this year but included no filter tells me they were rushing to get the game out on time.
They could skip a yearly release while only adding some content to fill the void and release an overhauled game in 25'. Yes, they would miss out on a year of revenue but a completely overhauled game would certainly reinvigorate their player pool.

It's a known glitch. Been happening since release. SDS is aware and obviously, done nothing to rectify the issue.
