If you have looked at these forums, at streamers, or anywhere this game is discussed, the overwhelming majority of high level players hate PCI shrinkage.

The mini season update is huge. Not having to play 28 games is going to make it so much better. I dont really like the new UI tho. The one we have now is amazing, and from what Ive seen so far, this new one looks a lot worse

I dont know what parks you are playing in but 95+ mph fly balls are home runs and xbhs at much higher rates than the ones you mentioned. 95-99 mph flyballs are homeruns around a 70% of the time in my experience

I think the ideal time would be a couple weeks before the all star break. Its a time where not a lot of interesting content is coming out, the cards wont be meta for long, and its early enough in the year the cards wont be very high overall.

Hot take: OOPs were kinda cool.
It was the end of 24, everyone was bored of grinding for the same cards over and over again, and we get a fun new way of using the same players. Two way Mike Trout? Starting Pitcher Anthony Rizzo? Are they realistic? No. But it was a new way to spice up the game, and I personally thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was.

Yes, but these are a year apart in completely different games. Why should I have to grind for another 99 Mike Trout when I had to grind for his other 99 3 months ago. The card is still in my inventory, and this structure is fully planned, not the live content coincidences we saw with guys like Nick Kurtz.

I think Sets and Seasons was a good idea to spice the game up, but it just wasn't as enjoyable as the power creep. Was variety better? Yes. However, grinding for the same 99s over and over just isnt that exciting.

Chipper Jones is real, Chipper Jones wont have maxed out stats in April (unless hes the live series reward), Chipper Jones isnt a two way player who throws an underhand knuckleball

Who here wants to face 6 foot 11 140 pound switch hitter, 2 way player Dingle McCringleberry, who has 99 everything attributes and pitches underhand with the pitch mix of John Donaldson in April? No one? Thats what I thought

Because its easy to abuse, takes away freedom from RTTS players, is incredibly annoying, and all the other reasons everyone already mentioned. We already had this in 22 and it failed.

If you really want to buy an older game, I would recommend 22 because that was the year before they overhauled the hitting engine

I absolutely despise conquests and mini seasons. However, I dont think the modes should just be killed because I don't like them. All the offline modes should have rewards to them, and if you dont want to do it, thats fine, but dont try to ruin it for the people who actually do like it
