Why is the fielding attributes to Bryce Harper bad when I try to put him in the outfield, hes literally played the outfield before. His secondary positions should be at least CF, RF or LF, CF, RF.

He hasn’t played a single out in the OF since 2022, and that was only 8 games. They don’t give out previous positions on LS cards that much anymore, Schwarber kinda broke it for everyone since he had secondary C for the longest time.

@on_a_power_trip_psn @savagesteve74_psn I hope they at least increase the fielding attributes for the outfield positions for Harper considering there's just no way hes reacting worse in the outfield.

Bryce harper was a terrible outfielder. There is a reason he doesnt play there anymore.

Harper doesn't even want to play outfield again, he's a much better first baseman than outfielder IMO

As others have said, he wasn’t that great an outfielder to begin with, probably on the same par with Soto.
Plus, that’s just not how it works. Otherwise, you’d see crazy lineups without having to worry about defense.

@Christuffer9917_PSN one it would only be right field 2 Harper if i remember right had an arm injury that made him a first basemen and he never looked back he took 1b and ran with it. I don’t remember him being aweful in the outfield .

@Teak2112_MLBTS he wasn’t a terrible outfielder. He wasn’t a great defender but he wasn’t terrible. It’s just much easier to play at first base. Now Kyle should never play a position, he should only dh.

Harper was an average outfielder(0 OAA in 2022), he moved to first after he recovered from Tommy John and never moved back

@Teak2112_MLBTS if anything that proves Soto is a bad defender having been in the lg for a shorter time. Harper had some bad defense years when he was young. But he turned into an average defender. And now he is above average at first.
