Top Signs you are facing a great player

@AppleLemon560_MLBTS they dont pause their game to stop script when you bring in Darren O'Day

Sometimes, you load into a game and realize you're facing a player who's on another level in this game. I'm not talking just a good player or World Series-level - lots of those guys are very beatable. There are some cats that are just on another level. What are the signs that tip you off?
-
They don't just throw the meta (inside sinker, slider away or in to same-handed hitter, breaking ball down). They throw the deep meta (back door cutter, sinker that clips the top of the zone barely, curve or change up that goes under your bat on the inside).
-
They hardly ever throw high fastball. Maybe once every three innings, just to surprise you. Let the bush leaguers throw high and up - they know okay players can launch that.
-
They roll out a goofy lineup full of guys that nobody plays. They've got Headliners player. Gold Brian Dozier is hitting cleanup. Jolt cards are there - hey look, it's Chili Davis! They're just clowning on you with a goofball lineup.
-
Especially when playing BR, they take purposely bad swings - they swing late, get jammed, swing at balls, etc. - but of course, all of those are hits because they're designed to drop in front of your outfielders. Your squared-up contact just lines right into the center fielder's glove, while they are dicing singles around the yard at will.
Players who have serious skill at this game don't get enough love - they're always getting bagged on. They just get called sweats and try hards. Skilled video game players in general just get no love for their dedication...they just get yelled at by their roommate (their mom).
You just described my games in the 500's.

I was kinda with you there until this part when I realized you're just another all my hard hits are outs and all my opponents do is hit bloopers kind of guy.
And did you seriously make this post with one account and then respond to it with a 2nd account? Lol @rubicante23_PSN

When I’m down 8-0 before recording a 2nd out

@allday9128_PSN I dont have any issue with bloop hits. The point is that there are players who are so good that it isn't luck for them - they see the pitch shape immediately and swing in different ways.

One thing Ive noticed from playing very high level players is they throw sinkers and cutters constantly. Rarely will you see an offspeed pitch playing them. Also, they will usually have a decent amount of losses in their record. If your playing someone whos 100-3, theres a good chance they are cheating. If youre not well into the 1000s though, you will never see these players, although you will know it if you are playing one

How can you even see a record though? Used to be you’d load into a game in ranked and you could see it. Now we’re all 0-0. Seems like the hardest thing ever to revert to when we could see something as easy as that. Going on a month now and no communication or care in the world for [censored] like that. Be excited for Marlins Miggy

You can run into these jive-time turkeys in Events and BR pretty easy. Players who are insanely talented at this game.

This feels so close to home hahaha

@JenkinMeyer_PSN
My experiences with these players are all from last year, I havent had time this year to get all the way up there -
I run into them and I never get mad, it’s just like.
Dam
And if it’s at the top of an inning you can’t get run-ruled yet so you just say OK let’s blow my bullpen past this dude like a pitching machine
And he’ll murder everything
I’ve spent an hour sometimes just trying to get an out
