Lineup Freezes - As bad as ever?
-
@NotesOfJohn_PSN Been bad all year and last year for me.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN Very disappointing that they can't (or won't) fix it.
-
I'm now even getting them going into mini seasons.
-
I thought I was going insane, like it was only me and somehow my PS was corrupted… I get freezes every day. And lag (fortunately, not in games), more than I can remember in forever from this franchise.
-
Here’s the weird thing for me: I haven’t had one in like 4 days. I thought maybe they had fixed it. Guess not. I do think starting a session from rest mode increases the chances of it happening. So, I close the game down when I’m done playing for a day.
-
You don’t take the loss if you freeze up in the lineup screen, right?
I’m 7-0 in BR and my lineup screen is frozen. The opponent won’t back out even though I can see him clicking in and out of ready.
-
I just had an opponent run the time out and when the prompt came up to end the game I pressed it. It then said my opponent was disconnected and it gave me the loss?
-
Dang.
🥶 lineup screens.
Freeze offs.
SDS shoulda just made a Hockey game to compete with EA 🤪 -
@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL oh you are 7 and 0 really lol. In the sweatiest game mode ever known to man mind. Battle royale. We have a .00001 percent player here everyone. Bow to him. This guy is the reason no one wants to play. We all admit it, some of you are just too good at this game. I am so proud of you!

@Ditka06_MLBTS
An average WS player could go 10-0 in BR. Not consistently, but if you gave them 100 attempts they would probably get about 5 flawless runs. The reason most people dont do it is because it relies heavily on getting a good draft and good matchups. Not to mention how frustrating it is to lose a deep BR run generally makes it not worthwhile for most players -
@TheRupster12_XBL I feel like you also have to get incredibly lucky as well

️It’s not that hard to go 7-0. The last few usually get you unless you are super elite.
You seem like a nice dude. Best of luck pal.

@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL appreciate the nice words. But i think its impossible. And trust me im not the type of guy to say anything is impossible. Maybe if I played nothing but online 6 hours everyday and stayed away from offline for a month i may get good enough to do it. Ive been playing this game religiously for 5 years and have never done it. Not only do you have to be incredibly good! You need the ball to bounce your way and im sure get incredibly lucky to be able to beat 10 sweats in a row. 10 wins in a row bro!!! Against that level of competition! Excuse the explanation marks. A few perfect input outs, aka unlucky and your cooked. There has to be some room for error. Maybe if they allowed 3 losses. Going 10 and 3 would open up the mode for more people to attempt it. That would be do able. Still have to be pretty good even with that. You get my point. If you are that good. More power to you. I can assure you 99.9 percent of us are not.

I’m not that good. I usually go flawless once a year to get some stubs in the beginning and quit BR because I don’t like bouncing between HOF/Legend and All-Star, although it seems like they have made all-star closer to HOF and Legend this year.
Funny story, I think three years ago I was 9-0. I played the worst player imaginable in the 10th game. He struck out 11 times in four innings and I struck out zero. Every ball I hit was solid, but at a defender. He won off of a jammed Texas leaguer in the first extra inning. So I get what you mean about luck being involved.
I also think if you are getting decent pci input and can pitch well it is realistic to go 10-0. Sometimes you run into great players that have bad luck and get beyond those games.
I do love BR though. I remember back in the day circa 2017 going 12-0 and getting an RNG reward Bryce Harper when he had the best swing in the game.
