I think you should be ok, it took me 3 months to complete a mini season and i got him, it immediately changed to that months reward for winning a second mini season which was one of the takeshi packs

I agree…I played a guy earlier today that was using Randy Johnson and I was going deep into counts to get him out of the game. I got him to 130 pitches in the 9th and he was STILL F’ING GREEN!!! It was beyond frustrating.

I assume number two is via the app?

Both in the app and in the game. When you go the the market, the first screen shows you three columns item name, their buy now, and sell now prices. This should also show how many of those cards you own.

I did bring up Pedroia on Twitter. Has to be rights issues.

I play offline for most of the DD/UT modes. I haven't played 2k in a few years but when I did, I only played Domination mode which I enjoyed.

The only thing I did not like about Domination was even if you won, you had to also have X # of points achieved. I'm not that good and thought if you earn the win, you should be able to move onto the next team or bracket.

But ya, they need to do something like that for DD offline players like me. Or some kind of season/franchise mode using your DD team.

I just re-draft over and over until I get the cards needed. I don't think I've played a BR game all year that didn’t have a mission attached to it. You'll win enough games doing the missions to get you to 100 points.

I’m ok with making hitting more difficult generally speaking (although it’s hard enough to hit DeGrom or verlander), but this was the wrong time to do it.

I thought hitting was pretty good before and the only thing that needed to be tweaked was the effectiveness of contact swinging.

Also, please no more hof events and if you must make one, at least make it a 2 part event. I’m going to try and grind out 25 wins but it takes a while to find a game compared to other events. I get that we are late in the game cycle so users are down, but you must have seen numbers decline since this event was introduced (relative to other events).

No, they mentioned specifics in the patch notes, but I think they reduced it to about halfway from how it was before and how it was after, so I vetween

I wouldn't necessarily worry about stubs with the BR program being available. The silver and gold packs cover your drafts and then some. Even if you didn't complete any missions and only won 1 game per run it would still cover it

Agreed...I think people get thrown off by the entry fee, but you make it back in no time...especially now with 2 points per win. Added bonus for me is that BR is tons of fun.

I didn’t know that people were actually interested in that last event.

Got him in my very last draft yesterday finally. Put him lead off as I needed 4 points. Got matched with a guy who also was hitting him lead off so kind of funny. HR for us both and was done. Good card.

The real reason Ohtani (and Trout) are going to waste, is because they play for the Angels.

While the Angels don't have a good front office, the thing thats been holding them back for years is Pujols. Now that he is gone they might be able to get some pitching finally

True, but Trout's got maybe 5 great years left in him, they have to re-up Ohtani soon (which won't be cheap) and they don't have much in the pipeline in the way of pitching (other than Detmers).

They have 2 more years of Ohtani. Owners worth over 3 billion. The 'can't afford' excuse MLB owner use is always BS.

There's no particular reason they couldn't turn this all around in a year or two.

When I get slumps I hit the batting practice for 30 mins or so. Turn all the sliders up and difficulty up and just embarrass myself. Then when I go back into a regular game..the ball speed feels so slow and my PCI seems HUGE compared to batting practice. It takes me a couple batters usually to slow back down to the speed but then I start cracking hits!

It’s a win-win…This will ensure that you aren’t tempted to turn back to a game that you have been bashing for months and will allow others who enjoy mlbts to obtain these cards more easily.

Have fun in madden, I haven’t played in years but last I checked, it was pay to win.

Love how they did this! Last year I was always frustrated during events when you couldn’t use prestigeable cards, but this completely fixes it.

Also pxp encourages lineup diversity. It’s a win all the way around.

It’s definitely the best thing they’ve incorporated. Conquest doesn’t feel like a waste of time since I can just load up the players I wanna parallel.

They also found a nice balance with making it doable, but not super easy either. You can get to level 3 pretty quick but IV and V are longer, makig it feel like a real accomplishment. I’m about 200 points away from V trout.

100% agree, conquest is way better since it feels like you are actually improving your roster.

Anyone know if the individual pitch speeds/control/break are affected? I know the general velocity, control, and break increase.

It does with velocity for sure. I have noticed my pitchers gaining an extra mph or two as they improve.

Have you seen your off speed pitches slow down? I remember last year they gave you 1 mph on fastballs and reduced breaking balls by 1 mph, generally speaking.

All your pitches increase except the changeup and circle-change, if I'm not mistaken.
