Chose Chipper with the Player Choice pack and got Biz in the other pack. Nice.

Yeah, they are all pretty brutal. I'm trying to do the Dodgers and I'm only like halfway done on Runs and Hits. Have about 30 HR left. I looked at other teams and probably half of them are worse than the Dodgers. This could now cut weeks off of many teams by getting rid of their toughest goal.

Tip if you make a Negro League theme team: combine them with the Dodgers and include the Dodgers Jackie. You can get the Blake Treinen captain up to Tier 2 and Jackie gets both boosts and gains +14POW vL and vR.

Also, you can add Hank or Willie for the NL boost, but both of their teams don't have great pitcher captain boosts.

I loved the Moonshot card, but yeah, it probably took me 10 games to get his 1 HR. Buxton got me the 2nd Twins HR in 2 ABs.

Interesting. What's the trick to stealing home? I just tried for the hell of it hoping for a dropped pitch, but never worked.

Just did all the pitching moments, minus 1 3K one, and the two RBI hit ones. Played one game with all the unlocked cards and I was done. Super quick. Probably could have done just enough moments to get to 20 because you basically get 30 points just by playing 1 game using Dodger/Brewers/NLCS cards.

For the Gwynn one, just bunt towards 2B. It's pretty easy to get on at least 3x a game that way. It took me a few tries, mostly due to bad luck with runners in the way or barely getting caught stealing, but it's pretty easy.

@Teak2112_MLBTS I got one somewhere else recently. It's a random Chase Pack, just like the Headliners one, with the same odds as a normal Chase Pack.

Two All-Stars and a Standout is going to help a ton for people who don't have Donaldson yet. I think that can save like 150-200K skipping Posada and a couple All-Stars.

EDIT: I just checked and Standout Posada was who I skipped for the whole collection and All Star was my last completion last week, so I should have waited a week.

Brenton Doyle isn't just some random spotlight player. He's about to go 3 for 3 in Gold Gloves. He's the best defensive outfielder in the current MLB.

@Dolenz_PSN #1 Fan is a completely optional cosmetic goal. The program is basically over after the Finest card. The rest is just a fun target to shoot for with your favorite team.

I was able to get to the first Boss Pack in 4.5 hours yesterday, sold Utley for 111K, bringing me to about 300K, the highest total I've had all year. Ohtani had dipped to about 320K then, but I had to go out to dinner.

When I got back he was up to 385K. Played a round of the Draft conquest, netting 15K and suddenly Ohtani was down to about 350K.

Quickly went through my inventory selling whatever I could, mainly some 5K cards that I was saving for the next big collection, and I was able to snag him at 345K.

Feels good to have that finally out of the way, even if it's going to set me back a little on the next big collection and the July Retro Spotlight.

NMS, no flipping, no DQ grinding, just lots of hours. Have Ted, Rolen, and all the Spotlights done. Have Ohtani left for Live, and need to finish HRD and Draft. Don't have many stubs, but got plenty of cards.

I don't play much online, but I had this happen to me yesterday. Their timer goes to zero, nothing happens. Pauses again and they are at 1m30s or something. Was ridiculous.

They may still add something extra to finish it. They could be giving it a day or two for the people who finished it all a little head start as a reward for keeping up.

By the way, I had his card at P1 at almost exactly 50 minutes after the last moment released. I knew I wasn't super efficient with the process, but I couldn't believe I was 71st to do so. There's some crazy dudes out there and now I know I'll never be able to 1/1 any card.

Regarding Speed, always look at Baseball Savant and you will see that you are wrong every time and SDS is right. Meidroth has 43rd percentile sprint speed. 50 is reasonably close, especially for a rookie where they have no extra seasons to reference.

Oh, and his Baserunning Value is actually 20th percentile, so sorry to break this to you: he's an awful baserunner.
