What I've learned from Showdown, almost never tag up unless you have 80 speed. Always seems that Ichiro is playing all outfield spots.

Hearing someone say Felix was their favorite player growing up has never made me feel older. Thanks a lot lol

Great game. Those who complain need to be reminded that if you have a successful plate appearance 30% of the time, you're doing fantastic. The beauty of baseball is tough luck.

As the above linked article notes, the collection dropped in late July last year. I guess I could at least do the cheaper collections to get some boost. I have about 100k stubs with no huge use for them other than TA exchanges. I just can’t make myself sit through showdown Especially the amount to make a dent into the XP reward path.

Get to 30/40 for everyone, put in two buy orders for everyone. Collect one and put a sell order for the other and you should turn a profit and get a ton of xp.

I keep him as a long reliever when I need to pull the starter early or if I run out of pinch hitters.

As for the closer, I go Chapman or Eckersley, but just got Rollie today who feels like another Eck

Chapman is the only reliever I have consistent troubles against, I’ve never been able to hit him

Because you can't see his pitches. After facing that so many times, I bought him so I could be on the other end of it.

Zambrano with 80 power would be awesome, but only if he snaps his bat like a twig after a strikeout.

Has anyone else had an issue where a runner is on 3rd (not forced) and on a ball hit to the mound, the runner is already halfway down the line to a point where there's no turning back? The runner reacts like it's a hard hit grounder every time.

I really enjoy showdown, but hope this issue could get fixed.

Idk why everyone keeps saying it will be all star cards when there is absolutely 0 chance of that happening. These cards will probably be in the 96-98 range and an all-star card has never been rated higher than like a 94

I could see them doing a theme like "fan favorite" and give every team a high 90s cult hero a player past or present. For the Cubs, gimme a 99 Schwarber with infinity power!

As a Cubs fan, I'm definitely going Wood to oust Felix from my rotation. Who would be better between Smoltz and Orel to replace Hal whom I struggle with.

The funky delivery reliever throwing 102 with a 71 mph change is tough to remove from the bullpen.

Might be the second best pitcher in the game. The changeup sucks, but that curveball is devastating when the sinker/cutter is working.
