Not sure who it was but all of the Philly and Toronto outfielders in the Hallady showdown all have max ability also. Maybe even an active perk. It is almost comical if it didn't waste so much of my time.

I thought that animation was reserved for a new legend getting released this year..... Canseco! Man this game is realistic.

I’m about 1/2 way through with plenty of time to finish up before Inning 3. I’m horsing quick xp opps like player programs and other non-daily moments for the home stretch of inning 2.

If that was your last game of the day then by all means do that. But if I intend to continue playing then this just doesn't make sense at all to me. How big of a deal is one loss?

It was 1130 at night I had to work at 4. I played one game and it was a freeze off. I lost a good amount of games to this. So yea I went to bed and work lol. Not my fault.

That 96 Finley is a hitting glitch big time. Still trying to figure out my main DD team and should have that sorted out by Sunday when I'm done with Team Affinity Season 1. I'm thinking 1B 99 Ortiz, 2nd 99 Robinson, SS 94 Banks, 3B 99 Chipper, C 91 Piazza, RF 95 Buxton, CF 96 Trout & LF 96 Finley. However some of the 42 series cards could find spots as well, just depends.

Ok this makes sense to me now, i was at 690 and playing someone in 700’s. I thought it was all star but the pitches were insanely fast/crazy break. I thought they nerfed hitting with the update

Its not cheese, its a strategy to throw off the hitters timing.

Slide stepping makes it harder to locate so its not always a great tool (especially if you're using pinpoint). With other inputs, you can slide step with almost any pitch fairly easily. Most players see slide step and assume fastball and are waaaay early on pitches.

Yeah, this thread is kinda talking me into saving up for Trout too. But I have a loooong way to go. Onky team collection I’ve done so far is the Twins because I had to have Kirby Puckett on my team.

How that's Puckett play? Looks like a good card.

Original power is meh, but once he is tier 2 or higher he starts rolling. And hits hard line drives from anywhere in the zone. And fielding is as good out of the gate vs a End game Mays or Griffey.

Kirby never really was known for his power so it’s cool to see he hits liners all day. I think it’s the best part of this game so far. Cards like this are actually useful where in years past they were useless

As soon as i posted earlier and went in game and just destroyed a ball over fence. But yeah it looks like there will be a place in the lineup for pure cont hitters and mediocre power guys that can clear bases with line drive gappers.

Just lost a showdown because of this bug 😡

Playing the game. Belli pull, 12-1 BR run I got Arenado...selling some cards I earned through events. Idk man they just stack up this year.

I think they have more to do with PCI placement/timing, but I don't think they have any effect on the outcome of the hit as we all know that's pretty random.

Posey doesn't hit a lot of homeruns but he is a double machine for me.

See I absolutely love quick counts. It's fast paced game play, get ready to swing be ready to pitch. No sitting around working the count, taking pitches, trying to drain stamina... Just boom. Here it is lets go. Games move very quick.

Except when you win 11-0 and the game goes the distance. These games certainly take much longer than the 3 inning games despite the quick counts.
