I’m curious about the rain bit. What does this do? Surely the ball doesn’t carry as well? I only play offline so I’m truly curious…when I remember to think of it, I try for ‘partly cloudy’ (I think that’s what it’s called) because I noticed once that I got a 13mph wind blowing straight out once on that setting but it usually backfires on me and I get it blowing in lol

I scanned the other posts and didnt see this mentioned so if it’s already been said I apologize but I never open packs using the console. I prefer the app interface it’s so much faster and certainly much more market friendly.
The “opened pack history” tab in the app is especially useful if you have say a couple hundred to open you can blast thru getting them opened just as fast as you can tap the “open next pack” tab (I don’t even flip them) and then go back to the history tab and you can see what all you got and interface directly with the market from there.

I would guess that most of us started playing baseball video games for mostly the same reason….we love baseball! What’s not to love about it? Every single time I’ve gotten a little discouraged with how bad I suck at this particular video game, I simply pop open my handy dandy MLB app on the trusty iPad and after a couple of hours of watching live games, watching highlights of great plays, etc…I am a changed man. I posit that it’s not the game that’s stagnant…it’s us! Well, at least in my case. I absolutely love what’s been going on this MLB season….so many up and comers and how about the Miz? What he’s doing right now has never been seen before! I challenge anyone to watch some baseball if you need a booster.

We’re talking peak MLB The Show drama: one streamer allegedly exploits a glitch for easy packs, the pitchfork mob assembles, and then the replies descend into the most predictable, finger-pointing, whataboutism spectacle imaginable. It’s like watching a group of digital hall monitors argue with cartoon villains who think they’re freedom fighters. Glorious. Let’s shame the highlights with the love they deserve. 
First up, the “I’m above it all but still here” crew. Shoutout to pergo_mlbts, blissfully declaring they’re happy they have no idea who Kyle even is. Legend. You wandered into a 30+ page ban thread like a tourist sipping a piña colada at a riot. Peak enlightened detachment—truly inspiring for all of us who wish we could forget the drama but somehow keep refreshing the page. Bravo on the selective ignorance while posting in the exact spot dedicated to the guy you claim not to know. Chef’s kiss. 
Then we have the noble defenders of the glitch grinders. dolenz_psn rolls in hot with the classic “SDS lied first, so exploiting is fine actually” manifesto, complete with the tired “two wrongs don’t make a right… but also SDS bad so my guys are victims” flip-flop. My brother in baseball, you’re out here writing essays defending pack-chasers who saw an exploit and sprinted toward it like it was Black Friday at the card store. The mental gymnastics are Olympic-level. And maddogtannen777_xbl sliding in with “Here here!! 10000000% agree” like a hype man at a participation trophy ceremony? Adorable. Nothing says “principled gamer” like enthusiastically cheering on “easy packs for them.” You two deserve matching jerseys that say “Rationalization Station.” 
thegoaler_psn tries to hold the line with actual values—talking about dishonest gains, pulling TN cards the hard way, and not wanting to benefit from exploits. Respect for the attempt at moral consistency in a sea of excuses. But of course it turns into a bizarre side quest about age, bullpens, sliders, and “son” energy. The reply chain reads like two uncles arguing at Thanksgiving after too much eggnog. Entertaining chaos, zero resolution. Pure forum gold. 
Over in the peanut gallery, nickc22_mlbts and sub2pythonyt_psn deliver the “nothing will happen anyway, SDS will just glaze mini-seasons” prophecy while giggling at the impending roast. You’re not wrong about the inevitable nothing-burger live stream, but the vibe is “let’s all meme the house burning down together.” Deeply committed to the bit of zero expectations. At least you’re consistent in your beautiful cynicism. 
Special mention to notesofjohn_psn with the “just ignore him and his misogyny defenders.” Clean, efficient shade—zero chill, maximum judgment. And lorangejuice_mlbts absolutely cooking the “keyboard Robin Hoods” who act high and mighty while cheering digital theft from the big bad developer. “Grow a pair, SDS!” indeed. Someone had to say it. 
demise4_xbl gets the “YFK is a dbag but streamers owning SDS is kinda based” award for keeping it real messy. And realmessiah_xbl quietly dropping the “this is against TOS, you know that right?” bomb like the only adult in the room. Bless you. 
Overall, this page perfectly captures The Show community in all its unfiltered glory: half the thread wants blood, the other half wants to burn it all down while clutching their glitch packs, and everyone is 100% convinced they’re the hero of the story. No bans will happen, SDS will probably say “thanks for playing,” and we’ll all be back here next glitch for round two.
Absolute cinema. 10/10 thread, would refresh again. Now somebody please lock this thing before page 50 turns into a full philosophical treatise on whether exploiting is protest art.

Might get dicey for baseball in general, if (what will almost assuredly be) a lockout by the owners following the expiration of the CBA this Dec 1….

Makes me curious if it drags on and eventually turns into a players strike (I sure hope not) if the video game is able to get released at all? Is it even permissible in such a case? I truly would be interested to know
