I can’t ever seem to come close to robbing one either. I’ve robbed one, ever, across the four seasons that I’ve took the plunge and bought the game. Moment, live game, practice mode etc I ain’t getting close. I think my biggest problem is that I get myself to the spot and just fall to pieces and can’t remember which dang button I’m supposed to hit so I just mash everything and I’ll end up doing nothing as I stand there watching it fly over, I’ll dive completely out of the way, or I’ll take off running up the wall after it’s in the stands and just shy of when the on deck hitter reaches the batters box. Those things play hell on these old frayed noives

What a bunch of…….MANURE! You know I remember last year I signed back into the 22 game and saw I had bunch of stubs so I bought around a thousand packs because I thought what the hey…it’s been four years or so and I’m sure they’ve already squeezed every last drop of revenue from this game so I bet I’ll pull tons of great cards.

Nope. Haha I got plenty of middling diamonds and every bundle of 50 packs came with a chase pack also and then also, peppered in along the way, other chase packs would pop in so by the time I opened all those packs I still had the joyous anticipation of getting to “save the best for last”, so to speak.

I cannot help but cling this teeny thread of hope that the complete and utter lack of acknowledgment and communication from SDS has been due to an all hands focus on rooting this out whilst not wanting to tip their collective hands to the previously mentioned makers of mischief so they could catch as many as possible and dole out some of those 3yr bans.

It’s one thing for us all to lament on here about things we wish they’d improve but when you have rampant and unbridled theft from your bottom line…that’s a whole different ball of wax…that’s how you pay your workers and keep the lights on and that’s worth tearing it down to the studs and reworking and I’m curious to see how it comes out and I’m not a bit ashamed to say that I’m pulling for SDS to win big on this one becuase it’s us who lose if they don’t….just my opinion.

I can’t help but think they’re reworking their market to put in safeguards against all this mischief folks have been reporting. Makes perfect sense and a lot of these posts that say the app isn’t working are incorrect. I’m still playing last years game and it’s the same app and it never went down for even a nanosecond during all this.

@Finn_Scotus_MLBTS Brother I will never forget the absolute thrilling joy that I experienced when me and my neighbor first rigged up his dad’s VCR to record our Baseball Stars matches!! It didn’t take us long before we recorded a play by play audio track to go along with some of the recordings. We would come home from school, fire up a couple of games of Baseball Stars and once it got to be about 6pm we would grab the bat and ball (because there was ONLY one baseball in existence as far as we knew and you would lower each other into a sewer if necessary to fetch it back) and head out to this big open field that was nearby and play a neighborhood game of baseball until it was dark thirty….sometimes it would just be two or three of us and others you’d have ten or twelve out there. I never knew how good we had it and I wouldn’t trade anything for it.

I’d love to have Sam Horn as my DH. He totally rocked the strikeout or megabomb motif way before Schwarber made it fashionable.

These are all pretty horrible however I did enjoy the smoking in the dugout jab. Seems like I remember a few different instances of catching a glimpse of Keith Hernandez taking a drag off a Marlboro in between innings at Shea back in the late 80’s
