If you are looking to Parallel a single card - Play vs CPU, as the road team, You need to get at least 8PA for the game to count parallel XP.
Once you finish your top half of the inning with the minimum required PA's - quit and restart

Definition in the dictionary:
A comparatively brief period of time.
Not a Moment:
Pitch 7 innings without giving up a run.
Total 16 TBs on 4 games.
Strike out 12 batters without giving up a hit.
Hit 2 HRs in one game.Is a Moment:
Hit a HR in one plate appearance.
Tally 2 TBs in one AB
Strike out a batter to end the game. And beat 'X' team in a 3 Inni game is DEFINITELY NOT a Moment
I think you answered your own question here with your definition
a COMPARATIVELY brief period of time - what are we comparing to? The full history of the sport of baseball? The you took this morning? The amount of time it takes Joey Chestnut to eat a hot dog?
I agree with you the pitch 7 innings without giving up a hit type moments are pretty garbage and really need to be trimmed back.

This got me thinking. Why does this game put out all these cards for "prospects" so grossly over inflated? I mean, I get the marketing angle. But if anyone were to follow along and note up the top-rung these prospects hit it's never even close to the loosely strewn Gold/diamonds you see before they throw the first MLB pitch or swing a bat. Some of them will be life long minor leaguers. Yet they're getting shutouts in RS against some of the greatest major leaguers to ever play the game.
I would guess not one of this year's prospects ever live up to the card they've gotten. Throwing a 110 mph fastball or hitting 40 HR in Minor leagues just means you got potential. But, one old coach always said "you know what potential means..you ain't ever done it".
I think youre looking at these prospect cards backwards - they are there to reflect what COULD be not will be. This isnt SDS saying Priester or Cabrara are going to be the next locks to win the Cy Young.
Its easy to look back at guys with 20/20 hindsight and say his prospect card was too high. Knowing what he's become do you think the 24 teams that picked before the Angels in 2009 would pass on Mike?
If we look at the Scouting Reports on Kelenic we see he's been scouted as having the following:
60 Power, Arm, Hitting
55 Fielding and Running
50 is considered a Major League Average on the 20/80 scale.
Id say kelenic's prospect card does a decent job of reflecting those stats.

we would/should get at least one diamond with every 10 pack bundle and 5 with a 50 pack yet I seem to get 1 diamond out of every 10 10pack bundles and maybe 5 diamonds out of every 10 50 pack bundles. The shown/given odds are a lie. I’m new and thought “wow a 50 pack bundle I’m bound to get something”. No more of the pack buying nonsense for me.

So many people make this post - so i figured I'd make a spreadsheet showing the math on the packs to help illustrate.
on a 50 pack bundle theres actually a ~37% chance you WONT open a diamond.
On 2x 50 pack bundles there still a 13.3% chance you WONT open a diamond.
If you want to 'guarantee' (ie to statistically have a 99% likelihood of seeing a diamond) you need open ~228 standard packs.
as you go up in level youre going to find people throw in the zone less if you dont give them a reason.
When you go into games now expect to see the following in first few pitches: A fastball and/or sinker up and in, a change up and/or curveball down in the dirt, and a slider and/or a cutter away. People are fishing to see if you chase any of these - if you do they will start to go to it more and more for out pitches.
Look at it this way - if I throw you a slider down and away and you swing through it every time why should i throw you anything else?
Also taking a wild stab - are you playing on a slightly older tv?
the best thing i found with Ozzie Smith when i did that one is just try and slap the ball right back up the middle - i dont think i had a single hit anywhere else

I sold my Lynn's bc they were going for 5400 so you should always take the profit
so you sold your lynn's for less then they would sell for if he goes diamond? For him it really is just a matter of time and his start 2 days would do nothing but help his case he should be a diamond
I took the sure stubs that he sold for 4850 after tax and if he doesnt go diamond, again, he would drop way lower. why wait a week for what might net you an extra 500 coins when you can get the certain thing
usually when a card goes diamond a less desirable one is going to be sittin at 5800
This is fair i think in most cases - but Lynn for almost all of this week has sat at around 4500 - i think for me its almost worth the risk to hold him based on his performances that he will go diamond - since its going to be harder and harder to deny him

Did it 3rd try - HR - 2B - HR
Bichette such a good hitter with a nice swing - this was def one of the more forgiving 8TB moments imo1
Gallo
TN Ryan McMahon
POTM Turner
POTM Vlad
TA2 Groshans
TA2 Mauricio
will all do fine for you at 3rd - currently im using Vlad Jr at 3rd since i want to Superfractor him
looks at Groshans and Simmy
pretty sure this OP is drunk
Took me 3 or 4 tries.
the worst was i think the second try - where i ended with 4 total bases in 4 plate appearances. On 3rd and 4th At bats I stepped in with a runner on first and hit a ball to the right center field gap that hicks managed to cut off. Damon could have EASILY made it to second on both of them but the lead runner decided to stop at 2nd.
Gotta love that artifical inflation of difficulty because the base runners ahead of you are super passive!
Eventually got it on the back of a Lead off triple, double into the RF corner and then squibber single

Conquest is a fine concept but man they need to rework the design. Simming games is brutal just make it more engaging and gameplay oriented.
Just should just make it when you conquer a stronghold you get that teams spaces they occupied. Boom
This then just defeats the entire purpose of it being a map. at that point just put the player stronghold in the center with however many 1 hex wide arms leading to opposition strongholds
the PotM Ohtani just seems to hit EVERYTHING so hard
None of the bosses excite me this time - so likely the highest value
This is the first month where there isnt a boss I'm at least slightly stoked about
Your 'theory' is mathematically fine - but i think a better way to think about it is that now you actually are incentivized to actually PLAY OUT the full conquest game rather then just get 1 run and bunt around. If you keep going with your math that you had its ~4.5 AB's per inning you need to average to be on par with the Innings math. You should be able to do that fairly easily
The reality imo is that the Plate Appearances stat incentivizes you to play the lowest difficulty you can to maximize your PA's where as the Innings Played incentivized you to play at the highest difficulty you were comfortable with. Honestly if you just play out the conquest games now - yes they take a bit longer but you should be able to rack up the PA's fairly easily.
Didnt Hader get a lightning POTM in 2019? Or am i misremembering?
This year for me Ernie Banks, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays all just feel like they are going to be almost auto outs for me - just cant get the hang of their swing
On the other side of the coin I know some people dont like Groshan's swing - but ive had a bunch of success both offline and online with him
Moments as a concept i think are great - but their execution is insanely flawed imo
Its one of the few areas of this game that functionally punish you for play "good" baseball - in a three ball count you're better off swinging at a bad pitch and hoping to bloop a hit or be blessed by an RNGesus home run rather then taking the free base
