when better options appear and people start trading in their bosses for the new guys (Griffey? Gehrig?)
massive market crash that takes down EVERYTHING
in last year's 11th inning, they re-released the 6th Inning Boss pack with Griffey/Piazza/Jackie. From what we've seen so far, the 5th is the one most likely to get re-released this year.
With how good all the 5th inning bosses were, I would not mind a re-drop later this year. If I'm remembering correctly, a lot of people liked that idea last year so I don't see why SDS wouldn't do it again. Love how accessible the great cards are every year.
I guess if they fix it Hicks will start hitting 104 and 105 on occasion. Does that sound better? 🙂
As long as he isn't doing it an unrealistic amount I'm all for it. I'm not as worried about the relievers who can do that cause they (usually) aren't pitching for more than an inning or two, and it's their job to come in and throw as hard as possible. My problem is guys pumping 102 every pitch for 3/4 of the game, something I don't think an actual human body could even handle.
Yeah, I feel like the CPU pitches to my weakness based on hours of game play and not anything about the pitcher or batters strengths or weaknesses. If I chase pitches low, then it throws them there, and if I can only hit pitches down the middle, the CPU will only throw pitches on the corners. It's fine for a game vs CPU or Conquest, but it makes Moments take awhile and Showdown completely unobtainable for me.
I've seen the same. While i love the MTO concept, there are so many things that are jacked up with it that the fun kinda gets taken away. Pitcher stamina, no control over call ups, lineups always reverting back to the default, only getting offered the same players pretty much with every team, momentum playing no role in playoffs, etc. But it's still better than RS.
