GTA online does that doesn’t it? What a great idea

@Dolenz64_XBL regarding the RTTS time to majors, the simple solution is to give the user control (via a slider) of the sensitivity to promotion (or if it’s based on attributes, how quickly they are accumulated) or something like that. User customisation… something that this game has lost sight of over the years.

I remember RTTS had buying attribute points and injury healing as a monetisation option too. Much better than forcing equipment

When the only reward is the experience of playing a real baseball game and online DD modes are empty, it tells you a lot about the market for those modes.

@Dolenz_PSN cross play is basically industry standard now; any game that doesn’t offer it is behind the times and we’d hear the chorus of why nots.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL not sure if the ‘cut it off’ idea is possible as the assets are likely 3D models that can’t simply be sliced or trimmed.

Caught stealings and pick offs rarely if ever appear in the game log. Seems the only things that appear in the log are end of plate appearances. I don’t know if that’s standard or not but it’s annoying when reviewing simmed innings.

Been a few years like that with guess pitch and dive jump

Use buttons and d-pad to direct runners (classic baserunning) for the best baserunning experience.

As a fellow RTTS player, I don’t think guess pitch works properly anymore. I always have it set to no feedback. On the very rare occasions I use it I still get feedback. So I assume the rest of it is not working as intended too. Just like two button dive/catch.

Haven’t said why, it just vanished in 24 and we only found out by playing. I agree, it was cool. A bit repetitive though.

Maybe their contract with Allegri expired.

@NiceKicks9023_XBL unfortunately it’s not possible anymore feature was taken away in 21 and has not returned much to the disappointment of almost every franchise and RTTS player.

@AdeptOfMemory what if one was gifted the game (ie didn’t buy it or subscribe to Game Pass or anything) and then didn’t buy stubs. Could they claim no money spent?

If you want free attribute increases without the effort, set gameplay to ‘watch full game’ (instead of sim screen or skip to next appearance) at the beginning of the game for one pitch, then change it to one of the other settings. You will gain attribute points for plays that are simmed that you are involved in (performance evaluator will show them).

I don’t think you get points on simmed plays otherwise.

Setting it to watch full game must switch point accumulation on, and it mustn’t get switched off when changing back. I think it’s a bug.
