I love Hoffman. Bring him and his booster self in after throwing outlier fastballs to mess with people’s timing.

Even as a Rockies fan he was my favorite pitcher to watch irl. The man was an artist.

But he’s always intense.

The LS captains are tied to set 1. I am imagining that the captains we will bet for season 2 will affect LS + Flashbacks for that team while set 3 captains will impact LS+ flashbacks + legends.

The problem comes in where you would need to replace the Captain cardy you earned with the LS card you grinder to purchase. I have LS Ohtani. In what world would I want to replace my 95 Ohtani with an inferior one? I want PXP on my LS Ohtani who will be viable all year, not the temp. Same will be true when I get Judge, Machado, etc. All captain cards should have been legends.

The L1 button is your friend if bringing a starter in for relief is your bag.

Also, there are 4 (4!) Ohtani cards in the game. 1 of them is free and easily obtainable.

Sold everything I could to get Ohtani and Trout after a super lucky DeGrom pull. Getting a solid lefty closer for the pen (AL West collection) makes running the Trevor Hoffman Captain card at tier 3 a possibility.

The rest of the live series collection cards are pretty take it or leave it compared to the NS series 1 TA cards and I have no doubt that the series 2 cards will continue that trend…to be followed by series 3…but filling an actual role is priceless for my long term enjoyment.

I’m at or close to 80% for each division. I’ve played with most but not all of the TA cards.

Devers and Joc are obvious choices.

Don’t sleep on Edman though. He may be one of the best 2B options atm.

The Rays are due for a few supercharges.

BCS Trout will be a shortcut to bragging rights amongst your friends.

I’m playing the long game by grinding parallels with LS Trout.

I’ve been using meter since the PS2days. It ain’t the greatest, but I never complained about people using analog or pinpoint.

The Mini Seasons tip does not work in the Lefty Loosey mini season. I started a fresh one and worked my way through because it was on my to-do list. No egg here.
