I disagree with this... we've seen people with similar records right here chime into this thread. It's True... there are a lot of variables, but the thing about variables is they become less and less of a factor the further apart the skill gap is. Variables, randomness, DDA or whatever don't guarantee a loss... just a bigger challenge and makes a bigger difference in a close game.

Some really interesting takes in here on Madden. As a lifelong Madden player I can tell some of the comments are from people that are clueless how Madden actually is. Yes... the show gives you much more to stay engaged offline, but anybody who has actually played both regularly knows that Madden is far more competitive online. The Show online is way too random to ever take H2H competition seriously and the servers on the Show definitely take away from the H2H experience. To me online Madden is way better and offline The Show is better. I rarely lose a game in Madden and feel like I outplayed my opponent and still lost. The Show on the other is so obvious in a close game that when it's time for you to lose... you are going to lose regardless of your performance. losing on a late inning HR where the guy hasn't gotten a hit all game is infuriating... 99% of the time I lose on Madden I got outplayed. Yes... people use exploits in Madden, but of you can't stop them and lose... you got outplayed in that game. The Show could be so much better with upgraded servers and less random hitting outcomes.

I think most sports games don't change much year to year. Madden is always disappointing imo because it always feels the same. Honestly.... what major changes were there for The Show this year besides cross play and a few minor differences??? I keep playing Madden and The Show every year because I love football and baseball and there are no other options for either.

I'm voting (quit whining). I don't love them, but would much rather play showdown than moments or play vs cpu. to earn points toward programs. They are more fun for me than moments and about even with conquest. I should add though that the only one I've done this year that was difficult was the 5th inning one.... the rest I did first try. I think the majority of whining comes from not being skilled enough to beat showdown and not actually a showdown itself issue... no offense to them, but it's true.

It's not like the only option is Showdown... you could skip showdown and play online for the points or skip online and play showdown. I like showdown a lot better than moments. They are never going to just giveaway 99s.... you have to play a little bit to earn them.

I use Cabrera and Degrom, but I have never watched a single stream or tutorial about this game. ...but seriously no matter what game you play online, there is always going to be streamers and people that will try anything to get a win. I think you are just having a tough day... you probably just lost a game? It's OK.... some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you.

Definitely not an exploit... they still go 12-0 and that is a huge accomplishment in this game. That 12-0 reward should be an elite reward for the elite players. I'm lucky if I can win 4 games total in a BR run... never mind 12 straight.

I'm ok with deGrom but yeah, that Nolan fastball in showdown is unreal and I couldn't touch it. Seems a bit jacked for rookie/veteran.

I can hit the 102mph most of the time from Degrom and Ryan... but yeah this 5th inning showdown is juiced. Ridiculous to get perfect hits on rookie and its still an out. This is the first showdown this year I haven't beaten after the first couple tries. I've lost this one 4 times now... my problem is the more times I lose it... the more I want to complete it.

For the same exact reason Madden earned close to 1 billion in revenue last year... people love baseball and their are no other options.

This game is fun and graphics, content, and DD mode are so much better than other sports games... but the lag in H2H modes is unbearable half the time and the randomness of hitting hurts the game so much.

This game is better than Madden in every aspect except servers and lagging online. I seen above someone said a Madden glitch took 2 months to fix.... the servers have been laggy and same glitches like catcher freezing on steals, mlb stadiums unbearable lag 50% of the time ect. for 4 years. This game could be elite and above the rest if they just focus on fixing online play. I play Madden on a regular since before internet and despise EA style of money grab.... but this game is 10x more laggy than Madden and if any Show fan boys say different they either have a hidden agenda or just don't play Madden so their opinion is useless on this. Just to be clear I like The Show a lot, but the servers today are like what Madden servers were 10+ years ago.

I use a 32.... but I am old and play in a recliner so need the bigger screen to see better.

This doesn't make sense. People that want to play a football game are gonna play regardless of their baseball games state. Not to mention the state of the show is always 10x better than Madden anyways. It doesn't matter if mlb the show is the greatest ever, or the worst. People are gonna play Madden for their football fix and the show for their baseball fix.

In all fairness... The Show as a whole is better than Madden, but online play in The Show is still far behind Madden as far as servers, consistent gameplay ect. Nobody who plays this game on a regular can straight faced tell me that online play is fine in this game.... because it's inconsistent and glitchy. I have never lost a game or even played a game with lag in Madden.

I actually really enjoy showdown. It's probably my favorite offline mode.

I have been going into the vault daily for a few weeks and reporting people that have sexually explicit pictures or use foul language. I only report inappropriate on the over the top ones. Usually, within a day the images are removed.

Every time some one has a banned thread I think to myself... Your welcome.
It may not have been me that did it, but it makes me feel good thinking that I may have been able to give the attention to someone that needed it so much.

How would he being getting attention by going into the vault and reporting people??? You don't go into the vault with other people, there's no forum, there's nothing to gain attention in the vault!

It seems like your just looking to be volatile... the post I replied to said quote " it makes me feel good" ...maybe you should try reading the conversation before adding your input. The whole point to my original reply was that I can't understand how reporting several people daily makes somebody feel good. I guess some people enjoy cleaning up the logo vault. And how and who did I attack in this thread???
