I don't play online that often in the Show, my son does though. We don't experience much lag at all, maybe it's the PS5 or my 1GB internet. As far as Madden goes, the servers are down all the time, most players use of the same players and the same 2 or 3 plays on both offense and defense which makes the game boring as heck.
If you feel the need to attack people saying they "suck", that is on you, I have no need to justify how good I am at a video game.
I hate to say it but fifa feels the most rewarding game for user skill, Even tho the AI is overpowered
I have played FIFA offline and it's fun but not a huge soccer fan, so harder to get into the game. Same goes for the basketball games. Football, Baseball and Hockey are my sports.
Im from uk so my main games probally fifa, but i always play like 1000 ranked in mlb every year just not having any fun in hall of fame atm, all-star is dodgy enough without small pcis

Madden servers are better then the show ones yes but to say the game plays way better online is funny. All you do online is counter exploits and money plays over and over again and you have to deal with the same nonsense in that game as you do on this one. I don't play many games online anymore due to the stupidity of the way people play but all sports games have loads and loads of problems online.
You do just realized you described the Show to a T right? Everyone just spams DeGrom and Cabrera. Everyone has the same lineup. Everyone spams 100 MPH sinkers online and Outlier fastball. Not to mention the servers are about as bad as I’ve seen on a game.
I wasn’t talking about Madden anyways. I said NHL EASHL is much better than the show. It is and it’s not close. The Show is one of the worst online games out there.

My PS4 is fried (won’t turn on anymore), so I don’t have a console to play on, but while without a game for a week, I always know where I can find solid entertainment.
This forum makes the Maury Povich show look like CSPAN. I appreciate all of you guys.

Way to describe The Show bud. Same 2-3 pitchers online. Same spamming 100mph sinkers and cutters. Spam pitchers with outlier. Same lineups every game. This game is dog [censored] and we both know it.

Bunch of masochists around here. That's the only explanation I can think of to why all these people cry and complain and continue to play, and not just about this game either.
Half the people whining will say they're waiting for a different game to come out and they won't play this one anymore when it does.Then when that game is out they'll be on whatever forum for that game bitching and moaning about how that game is the worst game ever.

This game is fun and graphics, content, and DD mode are so much better than other sports games... but the lag in H2H modes is unbearable half the time and the randomness of hitting hurts the game so much.

My only and biggest gripe are the freeze offs that have occurred at a much higher rate this year
Gameplay made a step forward this year. Not much of a step. But a step forward nonetheless

Lol I very much doubt you even play FUT champs with a comment like that. When patches read “lowered the success rate on wide open passes when the user isn’t being pressured” it doesn’t really speak user skill, it’s speaks, sorry, we’re going to make wide open passes miss when we feel like.

Pinpoint pitching made pitching an actual skill. Previous years we had random hanging pitches that were totally out of our control. That’s a W
The incessant check swings have been improved, and although hitting can still be random, it’s definitely better than last year.
For the most part, I feel like I deserve my losses and earn my wins. Gameplay isn’t great but it’s definitely better than 19 and 20
The inning program structure is better. The BR program is a W even though those aren’t gameplay related.

i think the 2 biggest problem with this game as a whole is
- there's no real conversation on what's done well and what's done horribly wrong.
by that i mean its always so polarizing , its everything suck and everyone should be fire(looking at you guy in charge of moments) or its the combination of "that's baseball" "quit playing then" and the classic "get gud" none of that gets to what causes peoples problems with the game or if it could be operator error. - if you give criticism and the people who could engage with the community and either answer questions or take that criticism to someone who could maybe implement that criticism if it would change the game for the good, and they just ghost everything that isn't a meme post or has nothing to do with game, did you really give criticism? there's posts with list of good question and criticism they haven't been even addressed for weeks. i really wonder why anyone posts on this forum cause there not listening positive or negative.
- there's no real conversation on what's done well and what's done horribly wrong.
