I doubt he will be the lightning card. Acuna Jr had an absolutely incredible July.
Arenado's July was very good as well.

I could see Moniak and a guy like Andrew Knizner among one of the cards you get before the lightning card though.

SDS can you add this? I think the WBC rules in an online tournament mode would be a nice addition as well. 2026 USA

I prefer using

Fisheye for Batting with Directional
Broadcast and classic for Pitching.

That's it my 5 things I would like looked into and some considerations to fixing these.

Is Ohtani rule working correctly in your league? Seems he can't DH when I started a league

If you're trying it with his CP card from the WBC program...it doesn't have the DH Secondary so it can't do both.

He is talking about custom leagues. Ohtani rule isn't in that mode it's glitched

PainPA explained with valid points your observations, did you not read it or you choose not to believe it?. Its fine to complain but if you're told the reasons why then you should thank that person and stop acting like an entitled Karen.

Exactly. My "complaints" if you'll call them that are valid. I did read his post and thought it was good insight and I was going to let this post die after that but people decided to call me names or whatever that post even meant. I'm simply making an observation on my opinion of the state of the game after almost 2 decades of playing mlb the show I at the minimum expected updated stadiums and face scans since there was little to no updates to anything else... if thats being a "Karen" when I stated nothing immoral or discrediting to the work of the developers than so be it. I'll never understand how any opinion that's not A+++++++++ is now considered a "Karen" particularly when I'm NOT upset just pointing out something regarding a video game in 2023.

Franchise got drafting. Not Enough but cool it's nice and new for the mode.
Negro league videos and amazing storylines mode. great.
Minor gameplay stuff. Late ps3/early ps4 looking looking fly-overs
But not much else?? Minimum every year we should be get all the stadiums updated and the guys without scans should get scanned.

Don't take this as hate either just expecting better....

While I am in the majority in requesting a full Franchise mode refresh. I am excited to see the storylines mode and hope it continues in future MLB games. There are so many storylines to be told from Griffey to Jeter or final season legends like Pujols & Yadi last year to Miggy & Wainwright this season. A WWE 2K like showcase mode would be really awesome to see continue especially with the addition of the World Baseball Classic and would help fans old and new learn about specific legends, teams or eras of baseball in general. @CBrev47_MLBTS @Pat_SDS_MLBTS

What exactly do you think is broken? All due respect, but telling SDS to "fix the hitting" is not helpful. In order to fix something, you have to know what the problem is. I don't personally have a problem with the hitting.

These guys go online get beat 10-0 then message their opponent some ridiculous stuff immediately proceeding that they come on this forum with posts like this.
The hitting is fine in this game. They've got some work to put in on other things though...

I hope thats not serious. Ohtani CANNOT pitch and DH in the same game in MLB 22. It's simply not possible simple as that when it should 100% be possible.

No, they have commented and no it wasn't fixed. I've started to move on from mlb 22 the franchise mode is just bare bones and not using Ohtani properly breaks any realistic immersion.
Rtts is not really my thing.
The online is always freezing & the missions this year are too tedious with the specific player xp stuff it's back to 16 type stuff with play innings type missions i guess at least we're not collecting bobble heads. I may come back to the game later in the season.

After patch 5 frame rate is tanking on series consoles. Anyone else see this?

The Nintendo Switch has had a bad frame rate all year so this is just talking about xbox.

Skip a year over "player models" lol I'd say they have much bigger issues than "player models" but skipping a year won't solve them all. They need passionate developers who love seeing the fruit of their hard work show at release. They can slowly finish a checklist without skipping a full release and hundred millions of $ to help budget the next release.

Thought I'd let you know Ohtani is currently 2 for 3 tonight with 2 RBIs & pitched 6 innings with 12Ks and only allowed 1 hit. This is not possible in MLB 22 The Show though..because? @Pat_SDS_PSN @Collin_SDS_PSN @Victor_SDS_PSN
