Thought I'd let you know Ohtani is currently 2 for 3 tonight with 2 RBIs & pitched 6 innings with 12Ks and only allowed 1 hit. This is not possible in MLB 22 The Show though..because? @Pat_SDS_PSN @Collin_SDS_PSN @Victor_SDS_PSN

No, it's currently broken hopefully they patch the Ohtani rule into the game ASAP.

Glad to have baseball back and the awesome MLB TS title. I have been playing a lot of franchise but noticed I cannot have Ohtani pitch & DH on the same day. Has this been addressed by the development team or am I doing this wrong? I understand in DD they want you to buy 2 separate cards but I am specifically referencing Franchise, OR, & exhibition modes.

There is a workaround where you can put a pitcher in the field and sub him with the DH but this causes you to completely lose the DH. I also see the new postseason rules aren't implemented unfortunately either.

It's completely understandable if the team didn't have time to implement the Ohtani rule I was just wondering if they've commented if they were gonna patch it?

I don’t think they would fix it this year. It might cause several side-effects.
Of course, I hope it to be fixed, but based on nearly 10 years experience of playing The Show, it seems to be possible at least in the next year’s work.

They don't tend to patch things after release like this but they did patch the all star stadium last year & being able to use the cover athlete the same way he plays in real life seems like something that should take precedent right away and be patched although I don't seem them patching the postseason format unfortunately.

The frame rate can get jittery on series consoles as well.

Pinpoint pitching is definitely glitched on xbox and switch

If you've played the playstation version you'll see that when using pinpoint on xbox that it has issues specifically when pulling the thumb stick back down after the gesture it doesn't correctly read input
