If you look at the image, you can see how much the difference from the real thing is. Given that Chris Sale has not been fixed in the meantime, is it too much to expect that Randy Johnson's will also be fixed?
I use the contact swing to avoid striking out in two strikes. But I was a bit embarrassed to see a lot of home runs coming out of a defensive swing just to avoid strikeouts. If you are aiming for a specific course and pitch, the contact swing is much better for home runs than the power swing. I'm not quite sure why the power swing exists.
This year's equipment part is very disappointing. It is welcome that Asics equipment has been added for Ohtani and some Japanese players, but it is still incomprehensible to leave some equipment even though players do not wear them at all while some equipment popularly used by many players eliminated. I've been using a revamped roster every year for proper equipment but it's so disappointing this year.

What happen to all the equipment from last year cleats, glove, and etc? I’m very disappointed with this release.
It’s good to have Asics equipments this year. But that’s all. Some equipments even removed like Oakley sunglasses, New Balance cleats and Nike, Jordan, Under Armour catcher’s ptotector.
He only can be a pitcher not designated hitter in a single game.
@warpedzilla_psn said in Can't get 120hz on ps5:
Monitor supports 240hz. 1080p and 2160p both stay at 60 hz. Performance mode is on. Any help? Yes I'm an idiot. Thanks.
Though your monitor supports 240hz, your monitor might not fully support 120hz since the output signal from PS5 is AV not PC. Since the HDMI standard PC and AV signal systems are completely different, most monitors made for PC support still do not fully support high-spec AV signals. This is a part of the answer I received when I inquired directly from the monitor manufacturer representative.
The biggest problem with this game is that the power swing is NO LONGER powerful and the contact swing is TOO powerful. Even with a perfect power swing, there are many times I hit an ordinary flyball that can't even get near the warning track while I can hit countless home runs with a contact swing. Is there any reason to separate the three types of swings? It's nonsense.
As a long-time franchise user, I have long had doubts about the criteria for calculating the Gold Glove ranking. Among the season stats recorded during franchise mode in The Show, the fielding stats that seem to be related to the Gold Glove are Assists (A), Putouts (PO), Errors (E), Fielding Percentage (FLD%), and Innings Played (INN). It is not understandable that my team player's fielding stats are better in every way if I compare the above stats of the top 3 players in the Gold Glove rank. But he is not ranked. Are there any hidden stats that are not exposed to users in The Show besides those fielding stats? If not, is it just a very crude logic to randomly rank among the top few players in the fielding percentage? I hope it's not the latter.

The Show should introduce an Equipment Vault similar to how they did the Stadium Vault.
It’s a good idea. Although it would be a great burden for the devs to build such a function, once it is built, the devs will be able to calm many complaints from users.
Cody Bellinger changed his batting stance in the last season and this applies to The Show 22. But in reality, he returned to his old stance from the beginning of this season and unfortunately, this hasn't been reflected in The Show 22 yet. Please make him return to the old stance in the next patch update.

Yeah I feel like the equipment they had in the past was more vast and this, so far feels so bare. Plus I’ve also noticed when batting, the players who use the wrist guards, like the evoshield and Nike etc. aren’t wearing them but when in the field they have them on again.
It's a bug that existed in previous versions as well. As you said, the selection of equipment is not as diverse as the previous version even though this version is newer.
@dirtydan1981_xbl said in Incomprehensible player's equipment:
They said earlier that equipment will be coming in the patch patch, whenever that is. But it is disappointing that it all wasn't included at the beginning.
My point exactly. If they should have removed some equipment for some reason we don't know, they should have kept the equipment popularly used among players in the first place.
what alcohol did you mean?
