@ncbravesfan3223_XBL That's insane. Secondary positions are for positions you actively can play not ones you used to play. If you were putting a 42 year old Albert Pujols in LF that would be laughable. Barry Bonds played Center when he was 21...Do you think he could have handled it at 41? If you think so you should really reevaluate your baseball acumen.
Fine, if it’s for positions the player actively plays, explain why Lux is just a 2B when in 2025 he has played LF, 2B, and 3B. Or why Javy Baez is listed as just a SS when in 2025 he has played CF, SS, and 3B. Seems to me it’s SDS that needs to check its baseball acumen, lol.
@Dolenz_PSN said in Answer this roster question, SDS …:
Probably because in 2024 he played 138 games at 2B and only 1 at SS. Prior to this year he had not played 3B since 2021.
Maybe they should update it more often but that is what, at least 300-400 players they need to check each update to see if they played a significant amount of innings at a particular position other than the ones that they currently have?
It’s just crazy to me that they put a player in a position in the starting lineup and he isn’t even eligible to play that position. It actually wouldn’t be an issue if they had edited him right in the first place. To me, the secondary positions should cover any positions a player has played in his career, not just the past season.
Why are many of the player positions so jacked up this year. Honestly, does anyone at your company check anything before you submit it to the public? Case in point, the Reds have a player in their starting lineup who doesn’t even have the position he plays in his fielding repertoire. Gavin Lux, who can play 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, and RF, is ONLY listed as a 2B. That means that if you play against the Reds, the CPU will automatically pull Lux because he is “out of position”. How does this happen? And there are many many more players who don’t have accurate secondary positions. Is there no quality control at SDS? Or do you just expect the consumer to fix your product to make it accurate and playable? Either way, that’s not good business.

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL if it isn’t about diamond dynasty they don’t care anymore. Just open packs and play the pokemon game. I’ve already stopped playing 25 and wish I would’ve never bought it. My advice find a new game to play bc as far as a realistic baseball experience, this ain’t it.
I wish they would offer the Pokémon game separately and have a team dedicated to a real baseball video game. Maybe then we would get a less buggy game that you can actually play in line with the actual season. Also I miss single season mode. Not that I can ever start a season since the rosters come out so late and are so off too. By the time I can get the rosters to match real life OD, it’s like a month into the actual season and so much has changed that I lose interest.
Seriously, does the roster team at SDS even check the rosters before they do updates? Last week they had two Seth Browns in the A’s lineup. This week, they have Gavin Lux as the Reds LF, but that’s not listed as one of his positions so the CPU will replace him right away. They also have numerous SPs still at staminas under 30.
I don’t understand how such an important aspect of the game gets neglected like this. It really shouldn’t be on the consumer to do work arounds and make changes to get these right and playable.
What I’d love to see:
What I’’m expecting:
A couple of injured players moved to AAA
A couple of the recent moves completed (Bride to MIN, Tromp to BAL, etc)
That’s about it

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL I did build one in 25 and uploaded to the vault. Online ID: jaschiff
Cool, thanks. Wish there was a way to put the Rays logo on the field, walls, dugout, etc. Oh well, maybe next year.
@SaveFarris_PSN said in George M Steinbrenner Field:
Yeah, just touch that one up with the proper wall color, a different scoreboard, a city backdrop, and some Rays logos scattered about. Not saying build one from scratch but just give us something close.
Given all of the issues with SC, it would be a nice gesture for SDS studios to drop a GMS field for us to use for the Rays. Even just a bare bones one like the A’s Stadium. Just something with the Rays logo around it and the basic shape and features of the actual stadium.
Fix your stinking game. We get another patch and yet, rosters are still a mess with the A’s having the same player twice in the lineup, Severino throwing 50 mph fastballs and being lifted in the 2nd inning, a broken stadium creator, and third base coaches wearing jackets in 90 degree weather. Be better than this.
The A’s also have two LFs (Seth Brown) and no 3B. And apparently their SPs all tire after a couple of innings. Seriously, does anyone check anything at SDS before throwing them out there to the public?

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL yep, exactly what I was asking him. Pretty sure he’s hitting a button on accident when swinging
Funny thing is that I was convinced that it was just a stupid bug that SDS hadn’t been able to fix. And it was user error - lol
@Bmanhawkshusky_PSN said in Runners stopping between bases.:
Anyone else having the issue on base hits , hit and runs or steals where the runner literally stops ?
If you accidentally hit the buttons on top of the controller it will happen. I discovered this earlier this year. If you keep your hands firmly on the handles of the controller while you hit, it won’t happen anymore. Takes some discipline and getting used to but it works.
