Why are many of the player positions so jacked up this year. Honestly, does anyone at your company check anything before you submit it to the public? Case in point, the Reds have a player in their starting lineup who doesn’t even have the position he plays in his fielding repertoire. Gavin Lux, who can play 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF, and RF, is ONLY listed as a 2B. That means that if you play against the Reds, the CPU will automatically pull Lux because he is “out of position”. How does this happen? And there are many many more players who don’t have accurate secondary positions. Is there no quality control at SDS? Or do you just expect the consumer to fix your product to make it accurate and playable? Either way, that’s not good business.

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL I'm guessing you are talking about Franchise mode. I haven't started a Franchise mode game yet, but I can understand the frustration since I like to take advantage of the secondary positions in Franchise. I hope they do fix it soon!

Probably because in 2024 he played 138 games at 2B and only 1 at SS. Prior to this year he had not played 3B since 2021.
Maybe they should update it more often but that is what, at least 300-400 players they need to check each update to see if they played a significant amount of innings at a particular position other than the ones that they currently have?

It’s just crazy to me that they put a player in a position in the starting lineup and he isn’t even eligible to play that position. It actually wouldn’t be an issue if they had edited him right in the first place. To me, the secondary positions should cover any positions a player has played in his career, not just the past season.

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL That's insane. Secondary positions are for positions you actively can play not ones you used to play. If you were putting a 42 year old Albert Pujols in LF that would be laughable. Barry Bonds played Center when he was 21...Do you think he could have handled it at 41? If you think so you should really reevaluate your baseball acumen.

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL let’s settle for the current year or at worst the year before.

They need to add more secondaries,
setting up lineups for jolt boost to grind out the few remaining OTR missions I have and have run into a few teams where , you initially think this will go pretty good they have 6-8 decent cards to put in there ,but no you can only get 4-5 of them in cause there are multiples of same position with no secondary and then have to fill in crappy live series in the holes. Last year these cards had those secondaries and you could fit them in (at least some of them did) .... -

Fine, if it’s for positions the player actively plays, explain why Lux is just a 2B when in 2025 he has played LF, 2B, and 3B. Or why Javy Baez is listed as just a SS when in 2025 he has played CF, SS, and 3B. Seems to me it’s SDS that needs to check its baseball acumen, lol.

@ncbravesfan3223_XBL I didn't say anything about that point. I agree with you that it would be nice to fix those at this point and they had enough info to do that at the roster update however they will do it they are generally pretty good about position swaps. But those both happened this year which is why they aren't reflected yet in game. Whereas Willson Contreras who everyone knew was making the change is listed as a 1B
