You know what, you're right. This is probably a non-issue now that I think about it logically. No one can send a friendly if I'm trying to skip.

No, it’s terrible. What about when you are in pause yourself and selecting your bullpen, looking at your opponents bench, looking at the pitch chart, etc

All those things take hitting X and all your opponent has to do is pause and send the FQ request and hope you hit the button while moving through your menus.

It’s crazy they’d change something like this. I really hope they added a confirmation or something so you have to hit X more than once or this is the dumbest thing they’ve done.

Just played a guy with a CAP pitcher on the mound throwing 100 mph under handed with a 71 mph change up. I was pretty frustrated all game that this is a thing.

Luckily, my opponent was real terrible and I had a perfect game through 7 innings. I finally hit a homer to take the lead off the cap and in my frustration I replayed the homer to rub it in

Now I’m sitting in a freeze off due to my stupidity lol

I know, I know. All us normal people get annoyed with R2 holders in this game.

But, is there anyone more satisfying to just beat the **** out of? Is there anyone else that you beat that just makes you laugh and get genuine enjoyment out of this game?

All the normal people out there: What are your thoughts? Who gives you more enjoyment to beat? R2 holders? Bunt dancers? Guys that take 20 seconds to throw a pitch?

If they did this then I’ll just come out with a reliever as an opener and then sub in my SP with the opposite dominate hand and you’ll be worse off than you are now. Then we’ll have threads complaining about openers and the cycle continues.

Legitimately feels like I’m playing BR on All Star with this monitor in WS games. Very early on Cabrera, but can still see and time off speed fairly easily.

Lol your record is only 60-25. Imagine making fun of people’s records when you barely have a .700 winning pct and hit .262 with Shippett as your home park

To make it even worse you’re hitting .244 this season with Shippett. Holy cow that’s terrible to be judging someone else’s record haha

How is this Goose that different from the AS version that is paralleled? Just slightly better bb/9?

PinPoint is too forgiving from what I’ve seen. There are times where I mess up the pattern quite a bit or am 78% accurate but still get “perfect” pitches.

I feel like it should be a lot harder to get a “perfect release” or the penalties should be a lot harsher when you don’t get perfect

Right now, PinPoint is actually the easiest to get good input on (once you’ve practiced enough). I pitched with analog for 10 years now and after 2 weeks I’m getting more good inputs on Pinpoint than analog and that’s just purely because the range is so wide for a perfect rating.

I think it’d be better if you have to get 95% accurate on the gesture and then be within 2 degrees left or right rather than 4.

What do y’all think? (I know servers are way more important right now)

HoF is by far the most balanced mode of them all. All Star is a joke, legend is kinda extreme. HoF is just right

I posted about this the other day. All people that work 3rd shift on the east coast are screwed out of 2 1/2 hours of play time each morning. Plus all the people that work from home now and like to play a couple hours before work are screwed too. But the west coasters made it clear that they don’t care because it doesn’t affect them & SDS well they of course don’t listen or respond as usual. There’s no reason they couldn’t rotate the time of the maintenance so it only effects each shift of players a couple times a week instead of the same players EVERY SINGLE DAY.

The people that work 1st shift have been screwed much worse so far. The game was unplayable in the evening 8 out of the first 10 nights since launch. Tough to argue that taking it down early in the morning is wrong when that's definitely when the least amount of people are playing. The prime time for gaming is 6-10pm est. and that's when this game has been the least dependable so far. You morning players at least have the luxury of playing everyday when maintenance is not being done.

I don’t think you people understand what’s being asked. We don’t want server maintenance in the evening when people are playing.

2 or 3 am PST is much better than 4 am PST when people on the east coast are waking up and playing.
An hour or two makes a huge difference.

I'm sure this idea has been thrown around before, but in RS and Events (which are competitive modes with something on the line) I have absolutely no idea why FQ is even a thing. If you want to quit, then quit. Take the L. If not, play it out and lets find out who the winner is. I think FQ should be for casual mode games only.

But then how would top players constantly avoid each other until they find a matchup favorable to them?

I get offered a friendly quit almost every game. I don’t send them myself but I’ll be honest, I do accept them at times. In the past couple of weeks I’ve had 2 guys with top 50 banners send FQs (which I did accept) before a pitch was thrown.

And before all the guys come our defending that: No, we weren’t at a major league park. No, there was no lag or even a pitch thrown to see if there was lag. No, we didn’t have the same pitcher on the mound for the weirdos who think that’s a valid reason to friendly quit

And I know I can’t completely bash it since I will accept FQs. I feel like I’m only half protesting it by never sending FQs and the other half is a hypocrite for accepting FQs from good players. It would be much better for the game if they just remove it completely though

Cardinals must be a 1st place team with all the guys they have in the all star game and apparent snubs according to here. I had no clue they were so good this year.

Molina has a case when you compare him to the two catchers that made the team. Despite what others said, O'Neill and Wainwright have been solid this year but not all stars in my opinion.

And what does a teams record have anything to do with who gets in the all star game?

Buster Posey is much, much more deserving than Molina. It’s not even close.

Tucker Barnhart deserves it more than Molina. Better OPS and better defensively at this point in Molina’s career.

Now I do it all the time from the satisfaction that it is potentially annoying someone who can’t mind their own business.

Jesse Winker will probably be in the mix as well. He’s been crushing the ball in April. Probably not the main boss item though.

Tejay Antone would be real nice though. He’s got a 98-100 mph sinker and maybe the best breaking balls in MLB

Really? I didn’t know San Diego Studios was on the West Coast. Totally makes sense now why server maintenance is at 4 AM PST rather than 2 or 3 AM PST.

I don’t have to look at OPs record to know he’s something like 15-42 with a .176 avg
