Zoom. But when I get a pitcher who has a lot of North to south break, then I have to go SZ High….
I’ve actually found it really weird and annoying as to why we can’t use custom batting views in online? Just didn’t think it would be a big deal if one person had one kind of custom view and the other team had a different one like we do now with the presets. It just doesn’t make any sense… is what it is I suppose.

Here’s one thing (of many), I’d like to see them do different: I’m about to wrap up playing tonight for about 2 1/2 hours. I received NO cards toward ANY collections. Set 1, 2, Core, Uniforms, Equipment, etc. Zero, nada, zilch. No magic spin. Again, nothing.

It is very discouraging.

I'm curious how you used your time. During double XP I average 20,000 XP per 9 inning game, sometimes I can get up to 30,000 Xp for a game. In 2 1/2 hours you should have had at least 2 spins.

Idk how some of u do this I got like 8-9k a game in double

It unrewarding for a good reason, it’s to prevent market saturation. It’s also done to prevent things like stub transfers. That’s why you pay an exorbitant amount for choice packs.

Not everyone wants to play the Ranked Seasons version of "baseball" with perfect players at every position.

I agree with you. I think a capped team would be fun. You’d see a lot more lineup variety.

Probably the reason it doesn’t look as good as the CX. You seem like you know about this stuff. How does it compare to the LGCX?

The LGCX is in a different league and is more premium. Main worry with the cx is possible burn in

Beltran was essentially the mastermind behind it all. When he came to the Astros from the Yankees he said the Astros were "behind the times" when it comes to sign stealing. And his and Cora's Veteran presence pretty much forced the Astros young players hands on how they were gonna do things. That is why both were immediately offered head Manager jobs. AJ Hinch didnt approve, but cmon. He was a relatively young Manager and didnt have near the influence on the locker room as Beltran did.

Beltran learned what he learned through his previous teams before the Astros. He compared the lack of Astros ability to "keep with the time" to where he just came from, the Yankees. Yankees and Red Sox were also busted that same year for electronic sign stealing. That is why the Astros getting busted was more egregious because after the Sox and Yanks got fined the Comish said anyone else caught would have the hammer brought down on them.

I got what you’re saying. Your talking about the dugout phone thing. I do remember that. They were fined $100,000. I know I read the Red Sox were alleged to have done it after the letter from Manfred was put out. Sorry I kept asking questions, you’re just one of the few people that are both knowledgeable and fair on the topic. I have to finish a bunch of paperwork, so I won’t be bothering you. I use the wired PowerA Spectra Controller….works amazing. It’s the Xbox wireless controllers that don’t work, which sucks as I have an Elite and a custom controller that are unusable

Wasn't that statement made by Nick Livingston about Tim Anderson's All Star card?

I know Nick does not appear on streams that often anymore but for those who don't know he is a die hard White Sox fan which is why he was hyping that card so hard.

He can also be a bit of a goofball at times. I kind of miss him on the streams.

Nick is missed, we need him back on streams just to break the tension between devs and the community.

I remember way back, maybe the first year the game was on PS4, it did not launch right at midnight and I found Nick was streaming the game, trying to answer questions and show stuff people wanted to see and giving us updates on the delay as he received them.

Even after that I watched him stream a few times. i mainly remember him playing one of the Trials games.

I'm a major NFL fan. I used to play Madden for franchise. They don't care about it, only MUT. My Bucs are finally good, but I would say I've only played for the trophies since Madden '13. I actually Platted that grindy one. Haven't owned one since '19.
I was tempted to get '23, just for the trophies and because I loved John Madden so much irl. His death really hurt. They need to take his name off this train wreck.
Then you have your YT hype-men, like Rayweather, and brainwashed fanboys who have their pants around their ankles for this mess every year.
If you check Ryan Moody's YT vids, you'll get the truth about EA football.
That said, I may get it when it's dirt cheap. I can't even get into preseason NFL rn.

Inside pitch is not the most difficult pitch to a pull hitter nor if your throwing below 94. Also which pitch? Also lefties notoriously love pitches low and Inside. Not trying to be combative but I think you meant gas Inside is the most difficult pitch? Aka 97 and above?

Do you want Jackie? I wouldn't give a big piece of 1 to get another, but if you are fine with waiting a month or so till hrd packs come back - go for it, otherwise find another way for Brett and you have the biggest part of Jackie.

He was one of my first p5s. With that said his delivery really has no deceptiveness. Also with him being out so long most people are used to him and he lacks that elite speed to keep hitters honest. The slider cutter combo are good but only if hitters are chasing that slider out of the zone.

I’ve noticed a lot of people are picking up on Johnson a lot better. On Allstar he’s average, opponents just sit fastball and swing early every time. On HOF he’s harder to hit but not unhittable, but Fernando Valenzuela seems to be my best pitcher. That screwball is hard to pick up on.

The City Connect programs are a kinda who cares type thing. I've finished a few by default.
The monthly awards are long drawn out programs that you lose interest after week 2.
Conquests are super easy and I have them done in a day. These need to be revamped. They are such a wash, rinse and repeat borefest.
Overall DD needs a significant overhaul. It's become so stale and monotonous that why would I buy MLB to basically experience the same thing.
