biggest one imo is using a cap pitcher with submarine motion. faced a dude today who used a cap pitcher at bayfront with overcast. impossible to see the ball. very fun way to receive my first loss of the szn. also the first guy i’ve ever faced who was toxic enough that i decided to block him

thanks to those of you who played me n tried to help me. i got first rounded and put up an absolutely pathetic performance. simply time to fully accept that i am not good at this game anymore.

cotw is the best mode to play to get better at hitting imo

You know what I've been doing? I go onto twitch and find a good player with a lot of followers. I get in there and I challenge the whole room to a money game.

Trouble is, the cats that I could beat never accept. The only cats that accept beat the pants off me.

1. the rating bar when you search for a game controls a rating range with a minimum and maximum. your opponent’s rating must be in that range. so by keeping the bar to the left, you increase the likelihood of finding an opponent near your rating.

I've done so every year previously since 2015. I've always gotten a deluxe or expanded version since they've been offered.

I am choosing to not support your game in this manner because your product doesn't deserve it. Between the terrible online environment and gameplay issues I'm not supporting it any further.

We as sports game fans have been taken advantage of over the recent years since Ultimate Team modes have become the prioritized game modes. We get rushed and incomplete yearly installments where all progress is erased and we're fed mostly repetitive content with minimal game improvements.

I'll be waiting for the next release to drop before I even consider purchasing this game, or any game for that matter. I suspect my days of mainly playing sports titles is ending. I hope people take the same stance as I, because the gaming community deserves better.

Stop crying, no one cares. This game gives you all the free content in the world and is arguably the best sports game out by far…quit being a baby

Looks like all the devs liked this. Content can't mask the abysmal online play this game has become. Congrats, yes it is the best smelling [censored] in the toilet.

I agree that online makes this game play terribly.

The question I keep asking though, is name a sports game that plays great online? Every community for each of these games complains about the same network/lag issues. Lag compensation from P2P connections cause many of the issues, as do server locations and connections. I would like to know if there is any sports title that solved these issues, because I dont know of any.

It is because they cater to the majority of the U.S. that has poor internet. There is a reason the alleged servers are in Florida, Chicago and NY. All areas with garbage internet.

Pretty sure Weens is in Philly so say I played him. The only servers between us are Chicago and NY. My internet can get to the NY server significantly faster than his can the Chicago server. Therefore, the game is going to connect to the New York server. That being said his information will likely get to the server first even though my internet is far better due to the distance. His game will play great (like always because you are not going 500-50 if it isn't), mine will play like [censored]. I can promise you if we played 10 games at each location, the results would be obvious.

There are a few problems with this scenario. Why am I matched up with this internet to begin with? There are not enough servers to combat this issue. Can we not find an opponent where the ping to the servers is close?

It is interesting that nearly every top player is on the east coast. couple exceptions but almost every single one ik of lives there

It means that people this year are making the exact opposite argument that was made last year.

2020 - Pitching is too random. The ball does not go where I aimed even with perfect input
2021 - Pitching is not random enough. Good players can dot pitches all day long.

i think the issue people have with pinpoint is it’s far too easy to achieve perfect input and it’s far too rewarding on mediocre input. this often results in almost every single pitch being spotted perfectly on the corners for a whole game, which isn’t realistic at all
