I've done so every year previously since 2015. I've always gotten a deluxe or expanded version since they've been offered.
I am choosing to not support your game in this manner because your product doesn't deserve it. Between the terrible online environment and gameplay issues I'm not supporting it any further.
We as sports game fans have been taken advantage of over the recent years since Ultimate Team modes have become the prioritized game modes. We get rushed and incomplete yearly installments where all progress is erased and we're fed mostly repetitive content with minimal game improvements.
I'll be waiting for the next release to drop before I even consider purchasing this game, or any game for that matter. I suspect my days of mainly playing sports titles is ending. I hope people take the same stance as I, because the gaming community deserves better.

It's the ONLY Basebal game out there like this and that is what the problem is. SDS puts out whatever & we just eat it because it's the ONLY 1 out there. So it's either play this (regardless how many things we dislike or hate about it) or play nothing at all. I love Baseball in general too much to NOT being able to play a Baseball Video Game. So therefor I still play it & will continue to play it. However will abandon & leave MLBTS is someone like 2K or EA relaunches out a Baseball game again.

Yep, whiners will be whiners and will complain incessantly about anything and everything and what’s even funny is most of them will complain about one aspect of the game one year and the next they will complain about the complete opposite thing the following year. For example, this year was pitching was op, last year hitting was op. Same person completely opposite complaint. Further proving my point that some people just can’t be satisfied unless their needs and only their needs are met. I say good riddance to them all.

Both have done this and both have failed and actually 2k won’t ever launch another baseball game seeings that this franchise is what the 2k franchise was until they sold the rights to it.

It was a well thought out post within the TOS of this website expressing my dissatisfaction with the state of this game.
You're argument to support the game is as weak as your insults. Free content does nothing when the gameplay sucks and the online environment doesn't work.

Lol you obviously didn't read what I posted. You just had a full blown conversation with yourself, didn't actual make a relevant point, and then declared your pointless ramblings as proving your point.

I'm amazed that someone who dislikes the game as much as you put has 500 plus hours into it. If I disliked and complained about the game I know I would never get to that amount. Shoot, the one year (18) that I felt it was not worth the time I stopped at fifty some odd hours.
Of course this thread makes me wonder if I missed the annual D_e_m_i_s_e post stating that he will not buy it next year.

I work from home, sometimes I leave the PS5 on for the day. I can assure you I haven't logged 500 hours of games played lol. I primarily play in a Custom League where we draft players to use in DD format.
You are making an assumption about me because I jokingly posted multiple days in a row about how bad the patch was and then made this post. To me it's a valid complaint, along with the servers this year.
I have mainly been a supporter of this franchise. I'm choosing not to support it in the same manner, because I don't think the game deserves that kind of support anymore, and really all sport titles for that matter.

Dude I’ve been posting in these forums since 2013 when 2k developers jumped ship to come over to SDS when they discontinued MLB 2k. So please spare the he’s a veteran to forums bs. His opinion means as much as mine.

Your post wasn’t well thought out, it was you whining and being a baby….just as i said. I’ve been playing this game for over a decade and this years version is near the top in every aspect….if your experience is that bad where you felt the need to let everyone know you won’t be preordering next year, it might be best for you to step away from this game for a bit. It’s clearly having quite an effect on your mental being

I’m making snide remarks because that is what this thread deserves. There is nothing constructive being said, it’s just the same old complaints being rehashed over and over and over and then the final thought is I quit. So my response is so be it. We don’t need to know you’re quitting. You’re 1 in 6 million users. In other words you’re inconsequential in the terms of the big picture. That’s all. If you want me to be nice and complimentary about your post then quit complaining. It’s a d a m n video game. The developers are humans just like us and it is not humanly possible to appease everyone here. The loudest voices in the forums are the ones who complain year in and year out but never seem to get the point. So if you’re going to quit then quit. We don’t need some whiny diatribe about why your quitting. It’s pointless and a waste of everyone’s time.
