So basically what I've decided to do is create an new account. Mid season, with restrictions. I can't buy or sell on the marketplace, no money allowed, no offline grinding. It's all online and the only way I can get new rewards is packs or XP gained from playing Ranked, Events, BR.

It's so much fun because all these cards I would scoff at mean so much to the account. Like Johnny Cueto for example carried me through the events to get Correa, a monumental piece for the team. It's just so much more fun not taking anything for granted and being so barebones.

mate this is 100% what i have been doing since april - it is the best way to play this game for sure - 0 grinding, 0 collecting, playing with whatever i earn and i play mostly RS or Events thats it - some conquest early on in the year but nothing else

Not using the market at all is so so difficult. I find myself ALWAYS wanting to pick someone up

i hear you completely - for years i was the same way - lately i am just sticking with a core group of players i really enjoy and just winging it - 0 grinds 0 stress

Holly batman, dude why is your pitch speeds so slow?...is this like Veteran or All Star with default pitch speeds?. You're trying to give a tutorial on the game but your pitch speed is at a setting a total beginner would be playing at or maybe an elderly person that's losing their vision. You basically have to wait for days on a fastball....If you're new at the game I guess its okay or maybe you set it at a slower speed for the the video?

Okay sorry I have no idea what that means, is that like esports for The Show or something?. I would think if it was esports the setting would be Legend with pitch speeds at 10?. At Legend hitting with pitch speeds at 10 you essentially have .5 seconds to react to a decent fast ball...which is slightly slower to real life at .4. What I'm talking about is in this video the pitch speed is very slow, its horrendously slow...you basically have about 1.2 seconds to react to a fast ball...that is super slow. Is the pitch speeds in the video that slow just for demonstration reasons?

First of all sorry for being snappy i thought you were a troll but you the guy i go to for Franchise questions. No it is just basically online h2h so setting are predetermined based off of highest ranked person. You play on legend so everything is gonna look slower. If he was championship and faced someone who was WS then pitch speed wouldv'e been legend. 👍

Anyone who wants to get better at The Show, I strongly suggest watching his YT vids and definitely subbing to his Twitch. Friendly guy with a great way of analyzing and breaking things down. Never too busy to answer any question. Gravy deserves more eyes on his content and I have a feeling he's gonna blow up in 21.

Typical swing early kind of BS. I wouldn't advise this to those who have bad connection or high ping. I love to face the extremely early swingers, they are an easy W.

But that's not the goal here. The goal here is to take away the fastball. As soon as you do this, you've got the other guy boned because if he can't feel confident in throwing the fastball, he's gonna throw more offspeed and it's a very easy adjustment.

This is a little confusing, so I'm not a casual DD noob so I don't care about graphics but care about frame rates...so Faster is what gives me consistent frame rates on the PS5?

I think what OP is saying is that Sharper on the PS5 does not result in the game quality factors, such as frame rates, suffering, which is what happens on PS4 on sharper setting.

So basically the PS5 is useless for The Show 20?

Playing at 4K and on sharper plays at the max framerate available the whole time. that is better than a PS4 Pro on 1080P/4K and on faster setting struggling to hit max FPS. The gameplay on PS5 is 100% smooth. I have played about 12 hours since i got my PS5 and have noticed zero dips in frames. It only can max out at 60FPS, because no PS4 games can go past that, but it is plenty for this game. We just havent seen it in so long.

Not quite true. High power guys get more P-P with medium fly ball which is the line just above middle PCI

Sure yes but the mechanics dont change. Try this online and you'll absolutely have similar results.
