I honestly feel like normal swing varies from game to game anyways. Some games it feels good and some games it’s noodle bat syndrome. I feel like you will probably hit more liners with a contact swing on average over time since the pci will be bigger and the sweet spot in the middle of the pci will also be bigger.

I haven’t tried it, but I may give it a try to check it out. No reason to put myself at a disadvantage over pride. Although I’m mentally trained to not swing at balls most of the time I may not get as much of an advantage in terms of fouling of balls in the dirt.

I think a freeze off can only end if someone quits or they do server maintenance

Swear at least 50% of the hrs i see are early timed swings. Outside corner , middle, hell i even gave up two today that were early on the inside corner.
Maybe they did this since hof is hard to hit 😞

lol its been rough since like '08-09 up until like last year basically but this team is awesome. Eloy is a monster. best staff and pen in the league. White sox v dodgers WS calling it now.

Oh man, my dad has been a Sox fan his whole life, so he would LOVE to see a rematch of the 59 series (with the Sox winning it this time, of course). If Eloy, Robert, and Grandal all come back in good shape then I think we've got the best team in the AL. But frankly the Brewers scare me more than the Dodgers. That pitching is so good. The Dodgers could be better if everyone gets healthy in time for October, but Milwaukee is that team that no one talks about until they're hoisting the trophy.

I love that Lance Lynn already re-signed. kopech and Crochet in the rotation next year I assume. this team is set for the next 6-7 years.

Agreed. Unfortunately we're stuck with Keuchel for a while longer, but the rotation looks really solid. And I think Lopez may have even found a home out there as a long reliever. Can you imagine if he reaches his potential, and Sox fans can say we got Giolito, Lopez, and Dunning/Lynn for Adam Eaton?! lol. Of course, the Sox have never been a particularly lucky team, so it figures that we have put together perhaps the best team in the franchise's history and then there will be a yearslong strike or lockout.

that was quite the trade for the sox, and the Quintana trade for the cubs is starting to look a little bit like the Shields trade for the sox. Eloy and Cease for Q? cease is starting to look like a stud himself.

Exactly like 94! I turned 11 probably a week before the lockout. I was still pretty young, but I was sure the Sox were going to win the WS. But Frank was always my favorite player, so seeing him win a second MVP was a bit of a consolation. This year's team is miles ahead of 2005, at least on paper. I think they'll either get knocked out in the first round or just sweep through all of October.

And Eloy and Cease for Q might be even better than the Eaton trade. Cease has such good stuff but he can't seem to keep his pitch count down. Maybe he just needs one more year to mature, but he could be a very solid pitcher.

That would be more funny to me if something very similar hadn’t happened to me, twice, just yesterday.

First was a high pop up to second while I was giving Roberts a try, and he just stood there, with no catch animation activated, and the ball landed right next to him (I sold him after the game). The second was a fly to diamond defense Donnie Baseball and the [censored] thing nearly landed on his head. Again, no catch animation despite standing in the marker with little blue rings encircling him.

Is this a thing, now, or just weird luck?

Quit, report the player, move on. Unless it was your last game of the day, I see no point in trying to wait them out

I'm not saying this didn't actually happen but Replay mode has never accurately portrayed what is happening during the game. It's even been said by the devs before that replay mode isn't 100% spot on

There has to be a way to obtain this? Ive faced a cap in dd before that threw it. Arg so frustrating idk what im missing

Unless SDS releases a steady stream of SS cards, the Jackie collection along with trout for the LS collection will remain as gatekeepers for larger collections such as Rivera. How you want to spend that $450+ K is up to you, but to do the large collections you will either need pack luck or a credit card.

Vs the AI last night P Senzatela on the Rockies bunted for a hit on a sinker I buried in the dirt. His bat was about waist level and the pitch was 3 feet from his bat.

He laid down the most gorgeous bunt on a buried 0-2 sinker and later came around to score.

When we are playing this game, we aren't playing baseball. When we are playing, we are watching this weird baseball movie that is hard to comprehend.

Used him once on legend. He’s nasty. So easy to control and his pitch mix is awesome

You have to go into the “Mode Specific” Settings in RTTS. From there you can change fielding to none, some or all. Same with the base running. Personally I like to have fielding and base running set to all. I like the fielding and I’d rather do base running where I sit through my teammates’ entire at bats so I can choose if/when to steal instead of having only one pitch to do it on that usually ends up being put into play anyway.
