Ive not noticed a difference.

Pretty sure I gave up two hits a foot and a half off the plate in the same game on terrible time swings.

I'm at the point where I think I'd be ok with SDS just hard coding any timing that is VERY early or VERY late is an auto miss. Not even a chance to make contact.

I agree with this, timing has to have more of an impact with making contact with the ball. Very early or late should not be making contact at this point.

I’ve been going into practice on legend and maxed out pitch speeds to try to train my eye on the higher levels. I go into a ranked game, I’m at 750 right now not sure what difficulty that is but the pitch speeds seem 100x faster than the legend difficulty with maxed out pitch speeds. Can’t even remotely catch up with fastballs. This game is just an effing mess, there’s no point in trying to get better.

Yeah I’m seeing that too. They are even blazing on mini seasons on rookie. I mean that’s bad when you play a game on HOF then go to a rookie difficulty (supposedly) and the pitches seem to be coming in at 200 mph. I’ve said it before but I don’t understand after all these years of making a game, they haven’t figured this out yet.

I've beat mini seasons several times. It's still beatable but they've changed the sliders or somthing.

Same here. Definitely adjusted the sliders.

It seems to disappear if you turn off 120hz

I think they had the right idea with the dynamic pci/it shrinking out of the zone, it just doesn't work.

it does shrink, but it doesn't shrink enough....it needs to be minuscule...but be glad their isn't a "low ball hitter" perk

I don't think it even shrinks less than the boost you get from “two strikes” which nearly everyone has now. Then add in a fastball and guys like Trout have a bigger PCI outside the zone than on a first pitch down the middle lol.

Same, except I’m even worse lol. Can’t get over 719. I’ve never complained about the BS late hits and late home runs, but wow. I’m getting killed with them every game now. I can’t pitch AT ALL. Maybe I’m just getting old idk.

They hid the PCI because contact no doubters are back. Those bloop hits contact swing. It's a small percentage of players ruining the game. Get rid of the outer PCI and this won't be a problem.

Can confirm. On the moonshot event, I got at least 3 good timing/PCI NOT on the ball HRs. Disgusting.

That’s exactly who I invested in lol, Crawford and Graveman. I invested light in Salvy, Alcantara and Taillon too but after last nights game he’s probably staying silver.

Cutoff us Tues or Wed so last night's game would affect this update.

Hitting this month seems much easier than previous seasons. Might be better cards but so far I’m hitting .330 all on HOF and previous months I’ve made WS hitting .280
Maybe I just got gud

First RS game with Mookie... I over run a ball to him and let up a run twice... Strikes out 4 times... Walks it off in the 10th with a 2 run jack. Full cycle of emotions for a debut! 😂

I just hit the buy now on a couple when they were $115 to $125. You could see there was no inventory so I figured rather than battle just secure the cards. May get lucky this time.

Good call it's so hard to hit buy now as I am a bargain hunter. But yep once inventory looks scarce its a good idea to scoop up as many for a reasonable price. I did the same on Harvey a few days or so before the BR program ended picked up 10-12 between 28-33 then he took off once people realized that no more would become available. I'm hoping that when the "big collection" comes out people find out that there are only 8 of the 14 current prime cards that are still available in packs. There is going to be a mad rush for limited supply prime cards.

Yeah I do. Here's a tip that usually helps me; whenever you need a gold player for the mission, make sure you don't draft that position until you hit the gold round. If he's not there, leave the position open until the next gold round. If most of your team is complete, there's a good chance they'll show up.

I feel like I have been doing that and I still never see them. I’m at 90 points now and I still only completed Sale’s missions. I feel like there has to be a better way to complete missions in these BR programs. They should just change it to overall stats instead of specific players.

If you're already at 90 you might as well grind out the 10 wins.

he'll be a 65 overall LF. the ratings system is glitched. but his stats will still be accurate in game

I restarted the game and now I see him as a 65 LF, thank you. But, why aren’t I able to put him at a secondary position? I originally wanted him at SS or 2nd and that said those were eligible positions.

For DD Secondary positions do not work. I had my BP as a 1B all through leveling but when you hit gold there is no 1B primary. So every ball hit to or thrown to my BP was dropped. He is a primary LF so he has to play LF. If you want to play him at SS or 2nd you will need to choose the load out that has those positions as primary. I'm not sure what those are but you can find that info in another thread that talks about the Primary position for Archetypes.

It is stupid that they don't have Archetypes for 1B or C, especially since those two are primaries for major bronze and silver Archetypes.

They aren’t that good With like 40k downloads on the cheese roster for rtts not many needs to lock in the set

@KILLERPRESENCE4 i think you did miss his point. Yes, it is true that you have to learn to hit the pitches that are in the game but he was pointing out an area of the game that SDS needs to improve. The sinkers truly do defy physics in this game. In the mean time we should try to adjust and learn to hit them but we can still point out that they need to fix it so that the game can be more realistic. Imagine if in Call of Duty you had to shoot at the ground 10 feet in front of your enemy to kill them when they are standing still. You could say “you just gotta adapt to the game man”…or they could just fix the game to make it more fun and realistic

Same here. Throwing the same guy over and over again gets easier. But not only that, sometimes it takes 2 to 3 innings to figure out the timing with lag. Some games a 100 mph fastball looks like a facing 100 mph vs cpu on all star, other times it looks like 110 mph on legend

So much truth to this. I just played a guy who tried to cheese fastballs with walker buehler. Got my timing down and put up 5, he switched to Chapman. That took 2 more innings then I put up another 3. He ended up quitting and taking the 8-0 L in the 5 inning I believe
