The lag is so bad in connected gameplay that basics like baserunning, tags, and throwing (pick-offs, rundowns) are affected badly. These aspects of gameplay aren't protected from lag the way hitting is (by the super slo-mo on pitch delivery which compensates). Protected a bit better, would have been more accurate. There's a mechanism for it even if it doesn't work all the time, for sure, you're right about that.

When I have lag the ball is in the glove when I am starting my swing. There is no protection lol

From release week, I've been saying that at-em balls are out of control this year. I don't have a problem with PP hit %'s being down. Whatever. But the % of good contact/good timing balls that are smoked right at fielders is comical. Just the code, I guess...

It's not the same thing but I need to document this to make me feel better. I use pinpoint and had good timing on a fastball up and in so I thought , the ball looked like it was heading to the corner perfectly then all of the sudden it hits him it felt like he leaned into it lol I was wondering if it was a connection thing or something

Yesterday I tried to steal 2nd in a BR game and my runner kept going to 3rd. I don’t know if it’s because I flicked my right analog to slide manually or what 🤣
