Cheating

Is there a new form of cheating or a new glitch because I’m not complaining about losing I know I won’t win every game but the last game I played no matter where I located the pitch, the pitch would lock on the lower left corner of the plate and the dude I was playing would tank them. I would put the location in the dirt but didn’t matter locked in to the lower right part of the plate. Very weird.
