But he batting for a second time before any of my other hitters even hit once in a game. That is rare and only happened 2 total times. Strikes being called strikes but not being counted as a strike is the one that almost has me at my wits end because this doesn't happen once, twice, or even 3 measly times a game... NO NO NO THIS DISGRACEFUL ATTEMPT AT COUNTING BALLS AND STRIKES HAPPENS ALMOST EVERY INNING RANDOMLY. If we go to any little league game in the country this is not a thing that would happen even a single time. It is such an elementary but will it be fixed? Nope because they don't even play their own game and it is so obvious. Hire people that love the game or just sell the MLB rights because what we are getting now is just unacceptable. Sorry for the rant but man this game is bad. Eveveryone knows it except SDS....

I have noticed the balls and strikes thing but thought it was just me. I mean surely out of all the things to mess up in a baseball game your "prefect umpires" can count balls and strikes?!?

Before anyone says anything, I want a fair, playable game, not free packs or a promise to be better.

You can sometimes beat them by driving the price up or down then putting in a bid that is a stub more or less then the second winning bid.

On new cards, people. On older cards, bots. I don't care how many people play this game there is no way possible that some random person halfway across the world is just waiting to under/over bid you by a stub as often as it happens. There's a program they use where cheaters put a max and minimum bid in and it will constantly move their bid +/- 1.

You would have an easier time convincing me it's SDS marketplace manipulation, then believing it's some random person.

I am NOT saying that it is SDS! But....

This video or anything I post isn't about changing or infusing anyone's opinion. I think we can all agree this game has seen better days.

If I hope to accomplish anything it would be for SDS to wake up and realize, they have one of the most dedicated fanbases. They have spent years building and deserve credit for the hard work that has been put into this game. But all of that will be gone. Years of hard work, put in by some great people. I get it. Even though it is more of a plea/offer to help to SDS then it is telling anyone what to think.

As for the glitch "punishment", I think they saw how banning a couple thousand people even from the marketplace for a month would affect their bottom line and weren't willing to do it. Just another example of them saying one thing and doing another. Or nothing at all in this case.

I posted this in another thread but I think SDS understands that there's a high possibility that there will not be a season next year, (at least not close to a full season). Meaning sales will tank, and once this game came out in the shape it did, they decided to pivot and say let's make the most money we can off '26 and hope there is a '27.

It feels like a massive letdown when you expect an Ultra premium 3-player pack and end up with a single choice from an old Easter pack.
However, this is actually not a bug or a glitch—it is an intentional design choice by San Diego Studios (SDS).
The Truth Behind "Random" Premier Packs
The Random Pool Dilution: SDS recently updated the game mechanics. When you earn a Random Premier Pack (like the completion reward from the All-Star Conquest or from Mini-Seasons), it pulls from a massive historical pool of past promotional packs.
The Easter Pack Inclusions: Because the Chocolate Bunny Choice Pack and other Easter "Ultra" rewards were moved into the random Premier pool, they override the standard 3-card layout. You are essentially given a 1-card choice pack inside your Premier reward slot.

I appreciate a good line of bulls... as much as anybody, but give me a break. If you get an Ultra Pack wether free or paid for it should come with the listed odds. Which are 12.5% each for 8 different Ultra packs. Easter program isn't even listed. What's 12.5x8? Let me do the math... 100.

At this point in time it's not about the pack (I have Micky and V. Mart). But [censored], don't give us that world salad bs and hope we're too stupid to see what's happening.

Here's a hint, there's probably not going to be a season next year, which means game sales will tank, so they're squeezing every penny they can out of this one. Just say it, SDS. They put Jackie Robinson/NLB in a pay pack collection for the first time ever! That tells me all I need to know.

They have been running close to the same schedule as last year, and last year we got one on 7-25. If that holds true and they stay with the Tuesday or Thursday routine, then the 21st or 23rd would make the most sense.

Absolutely correct. The amount of free packs, either free or by grinding has been one of the rare bright spots this year.

Been grinding through the Draft conquest for the mostly easy 15k+ stubs. It goes pretty smooth until I play the Twins or Royals. These are also the 2 teams that I struggle with no matter the mode or difficulty.

Does anyone else have a team(s) that no matter mode, place, level you know it's always going to be a battle?

Agreed, now that I am starting to knock out the big collections this game is really starting open up for me. I am actually having fun now. I am going to start messing with multi-player again, start off with events and work from there. In saying all of that I humbly disagree but respect the OP's sentiment.

Have you received a Bunny in a Ultra pack? Collected the ASG MVP card that costs 1 million stubs, when we were told it would be in a program?
Lost a game because of PCI shrinkage that we were told was fixed?
Won a game only to have it not count because the server lagged out?
Missed out on inning rewards because double XP was down half the weekend?
Battled the bots to buy or sell anything at a fair price in the marketplace?

I'm glad you're having fun and hopefully the game comes around and can bring more of us back in. I'm just afraid with the strike/lockout looming next year... in baseball terms, SDS needed a grand slam this year, and right now it's 0 and 2 and they're staring down a Misiorowski 104 mph high and tight fastball.

Hey bro, not discounting all that and yes, I have been frustrated early on. None more than the restrictions on buy and sell orders that thankfully has been resolved. Since, I refocused on the fact that this is only a video game not worthy of my ire, anxiety or stress. I have been more and less treating it as a virtual trading card game and going after collections and favorite ball players past and present and just having fun with them. It's a past time not a full time job and should be treated as such IMO.

That's funny because I've been calling it a stock market trading game. But that's the problem. It's not a trading card or stock market sim, it's a baseball game. The only MLB real style baseball game.

What bugs me more then the game itself is the seer comeuppance of SDS. They're like that family member that no matter what you have or done they have it and done it better. You either get a "we're the only game in town, deal with it" attitude, or a lie.

I run a office for the second largest repossession company in the US and even I have a higher favorably then SDS.

I'm only taking what they are giving me. I spent the $100, gotta find the enjoyment somewhere in this game.

That's how a smart person would look at it. There's usually just another 3 lettered word that comes after someone calls me smart.

Not all free packs are created equal. I pulled Ohtani out of a Now and Later pack to begin the year. No complaints about getting anything free.
