What most of us never dreamed possible, SDS has managed to accomplish in a matter of months! This flash/stub sale proved it. Before the flash/stub sale there were 43 cards over 100k, including 15 over 300k. After the flash/stub sale there are 41 cards over 100k, with 13 being over 300k. With 1 in 25 odds (4%) you all knew what would happen.

Be proud SDS, you along with the bots and cheaters you chose to do nothing about have ruined what was easily the best sports game around. What took over 15 years to build your current staff destroyed in 5 months. Literally FUBAR, this game is barely a shell of what it used to be.

I'll still come here to share my abundance of knowledge and winning personality.

So here we are, in August. The game is still freezing at the worst possible times. The marketplace is still controlled by bots and SDS hasn't done or said anything, besides lie and ruin a once great franchise.

I have 1.4 million stubs and still can't buy 2 cards to complete LS. Why...Because these lazy $hits refuse to fix their game. But they'll drop repeat cards faster than Bonnie Blue drops her panties.

This 1000x over... Streamers can pitch 3rd party resellers and expoilt glitches that would get us banned. 3rd party resellers control most of the bots, that's how they make their stubs to resell. The bots have driven up the marketplace prices where average players can't compete. SDS supports the streamers because it's free advertising (other then the free game and cards they give them)....

Am I the only one that sees the circle here. It's as simple as rinse and repeat.

Streamers gets there views, free game and cards. 3rd party resellers get their money. SDS gets a big enough piece of the pie to act like they care while they look back over their shoulder with a wink.

SDS needs to see this.

For those that don't know how the bots/stub resellers work. (I've not done it but I know someone that paid for their college books doing it.)

They will harvest 1000s of cards however they can. (WBC Glitch, Cronus Zen for the high value catds) Resellers then sell them off on the marketplace, often close to quick sell. They will not quick sell them because of the attention that would draw. (Like SDS can't see the 100s of cards being sold for less then quick sell after tax.)
When the player buys stubs from one of the websites it's individual people selling them through that site. They take control of your account, go on the marketplace, take a card that has no buy or sell offers, they will then 'buy' the card with your account and turn around and resell it to their account for ever how many stubs are needed. That is why all these sites offer around 10% free, because it's never a exact number.

With that said... it's an easy fix. Find the 'players' selling 100s of cards at a loss and that would cut down the vast majority. There SDS, problem solved, I'll wait on my check.

This is what I was thinking, but everything I found just talked a mobile gaming. I did find something that said players must be notified if drop/pull odds change in China or India, maybe South Korea, too. But that doesn't do us any good.

I know what they can't do is list 12.5% odds for pulls out of an Ultra pack then give you a Bunny pack that doesn't even have listed odds andt is worth less then half of a 5 card Ultra pack. That much I was told for a fact and was asked tto send proof of. (Which I had.)

Agreed, now that I am starting to knock out the big collections this game is really starting open up for me. I am actually having fun now. I am going to start messing with multi-player again, start off with events and work from there. In saying all of that I humbly disagree but respect the OP's sentiment.

Have you received a Bunny in a Ultra pack? Collected the ASG MVP card that costs 1 million stubs, when we were told it would be in a program?
Lost a game because of PCI shrinkage that we were told was fixed?
Won a game only to have it not count because the server lagged out?
Missed out on inning rewards because double XP was down half the weekend?
Battled the bots to buy or sell anything at a fair price in the marketplace?

I'm glad you're having fun and hopefully the game comes around and can bring more of us back in. I'm just afraid with the strike/lockout looming next year... in baseball terms, SDS needed a grand slam this year, and right now it's 0 and 2 and they're staring down a Misiorowski 104 mph high and tight fastball.

It feels like a massive letdown when you expect an Ultra premium 3-player pack and end up with a single choice from an old Easter pack.
However, this is actually not a bug or a glitch—it is an intentional design choice by San Diego Studios (SDS).
The Truth Behind "Random" Premier Packs
The Random Pool Dilution: SDS recently updated the game mechanics. When you earn a Random Premier Pack (like the completion reward from the All-Star Conquest or from Mini-Seasons), it pulls from a massive historical pool of past promotional packs.
The Easter Pack Inclusions: Because the Chocolate Bunny Choice Pack and other Easter "Ultra" rewards were moved into the random Premier pool, they override the standard 3-card layout. You are essentially given a 1-card choice pack inside your Premier reward slot.

That's the longest winded load of ....
I appreciate a good line of bulls... as much as anybody, but give me a break. If you get an Ultra Pack wether free or paid for it should come with the listed odds. Which are 12.5% each for 8 different Ultra packs. Easter program isn't even listed. What's 12.5x8? Let me do the math... 100.

At this point in time it's not about the pack (I have Micky and V. Mart). But [censored], don't give us that world salad bs and hope we're too stupid to see what's happening.

Here's a hint, there's probably not going to be a season next year, which means game sales will tank, so they're squeezing every penny they can out of this one. Just say it, SDS. They put Jackie Robinson/NLB in a pay pack collection for the first time ever! That tells me all I need to know.

It's truly amazing how bad they've been this past year.

Not long ago you could tell there were people there that honestly cared about this game. Now... well let's just say that's not the case.

Just for fun, imagine being a parent and your kid comes and says "Hey dad, can I use the card on Playstation to get my 2 favorite players on MLB the Show?" And $1500 later...

Completely hypothetical. Kids don't play this game. I coach middle school football and they all refer to it as Coache's geezer game.

Side note: From here on out, I will be referring to this game as...
MLB the Show Me the Money '26.

For the next Legends and Flashbacks collections you will need every card, pretty much. And considering there's 39 cards over 100k including 15 over 300k it's going to be expensive even with a couple of Flash sales.

SDS has let the market get so far out of control, I doubt a flash sale will even help that much at this point. Good luck!

The meaning of it was well intended and true. Even if overplayed and 'slightly' overbearing. Lol But if you grinded you could get the cards

Now you have to grind, plus work 3 jobs, take out a second mortgage, and hope the bots don't take over to have a chance.

This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. Even when the rewards are 'rewarding' they don't feel like it. It's not the 'hell yeah, I done it feeling'. It's the 'thank God that's over with' feeling.
I honestly couldn't tell you the last time this game gave me a legit, Hell Yeah fist pump moment. Which to me are what sports and sports games are all about.

Therein lays the problem. They release a game full of bugs and glitches and expect the community to be grateful that it plays the 75% of the time it actually works right.

Here's a legitimate question I asked in the survey. If there is a strike or lockout next year what reason has SDS gave anyone to trust that the content and gameplay along will make this game worth buying?

I have bought this game every since 2012. Give me/us a reason to do it next year.
