Man, it's a shame what these boards have become in just a short period of time. I remember the days of people debating the good/bad of cards, posting strategies, healthy discussion of lineups....the game has its flaws but goodness gracious this is a joke.

Personally I’m an October at 7 pm guy simply because for me, playing at night makes it far easier to see pitches.
Read some Reddit posts mentioning how night games sometimes make the game run choppier, and playing in hotter months actually does increase carry on the ball…not sure how true this is but brought me to this question.
I know 3/4 of you are going to whine that it's another first basemen, but cool to see him back in the game. I personally am a huge fan of players with open stances and I hope they try and replicate his quick swing/follow through....card should rake.

Not a rant post really just came to realization that this years DD is lacking a lot for me to continue playing.
I will be playing Franchise and Road to the Show from now on but DD is done for 22.
Content has been lacking in my view.
Team Affinity is gone,New featured program is weak and POTM is a joke.Not to mention the grind needed to get Rizzo.Just not fun.
PXP is the single worst addition this year for program progress I think.
Forcing me to use players I don't like to progress very very slowly towards the program is not ideal.
Hitting is bad both online and offline and diving plays are OP.Mini Seasons is a good idea but too shallow and kinda broken for some folks.
Collections are underwhelming really.I only like Gibson,Utley and Jansen.
I will continue playing the game but DD is an L this year from me.

I like the fact that it always gives me something to work toward. TA 1 was so much worse. Now it’s 2K XP per team and not 2.5K. You have the Incognito repeatable mission, moments are worth more, exchanges are lower and it’s quicker to get TA vouchers. Since there is no content today other than about 30 mins of Topps Now moments, aren’t you glad there is something to work on?

Between Weekly Wonders, Conquests, mini seasons, other programs, the xp rewards, etc, how much more free [censored] do we really need here? Is this really what this community has become? A group that will never be satisfied no matter what we get?
I've been playing this game long enough to know that this year we are getting MUCH less for MUCH more grinding. Thats an absolute fact.
Saw a video on BarstoolSports Instagram page today, wife just gave birth and as they are in the hospital room it pans to his PS (that he had hooked up in the hospital room) and he pulls Trout. Naturally, freaks out as low key as humanly possible. Talk about having a heck of a day or two. Pretty funny vid.

It's a figure of speech I assumed most were familiar with. Like, "I'm about to put in work on this chicken parm"...or "I'm about to do work on your girl". Sorry for not clarifying.

If the game wasn’t so bad, the forum wouldn’t be flooded with the feedback and complaint threads
I am all about voicing your opinion, but it's consistantly the same gripes and alot of times from the same people. You would think after 2-3 posts about how bad this game is you would turn it off, but we have a pretty unreal amount of peeps in here who would rather make 4 paragraph posts over, and over, and over again.
The worst offender is under a ban for now...

Preface- still have a ps4…but my current one is sh*tting the bed so more than likely going to have to replace it soon. I feel like watching some of the content guys, i swear it looks like some use different controllers than what comes with the system.
Have you guys dabbled in any of the other controllers (specifically ps4)? Wouldn’t mind using something with more of an Xbox feel but not sure what’s out there and would love some feedback

There’s just nothing fun about it any longer. The grinding is all tedious and constantly repeated. The conquest is brutally repetitive. The programs are all the same thing over and over.
The pitching is far too easy to control, making virtually anyone capable of giving up only a fluke homer here and there but otherwise dominating most offenses, especially at mid levels of RS.
And the hitting is next to impossible when guys can constantly dot corners and edges with ridiculous breaking balls and impossibly quick fastballs, and I’m on a 1ms response monitor.
And when you do get a good contact, the fielders can now make ridiculous diving plays consistently.
Addiction is a hard thing to break, we come back again and again to play a game that drives us crazy and largely wastes our time, we have become insane because of it.
This game is the only thing I complain about in life. It makes me a worse person. I’ve been playing for so many years that it’s a tough thing to break, I want to so badly. The past two years especially have truly sucked for the show franchise. It has never felt worse.
It ain’t that serious man. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t play it

It's not a milestone or signature card It's a Awards card from 2019 so of course he dosn't have catcher as a secondary. You could always try him there and see if it works out though.
The point isn’t what type of card but why release a Santana card that doesn’t have Catcher as a secondary position. What could have been a useful card for a long time is now basically a worthless card.

I feel like this year, they have tightened up big time on packs. I rarely see BIAH packs. Conquest maps used to be loaded with stuff to open upon completion....just seems much, much less this year.
I get it, this years game is geared towards those who can grind like its a full time job. Atleast throw those of us who can't sit for 25 hours a week a couple bones or something. Even standard packs help us feel like we accomplished SOMETHING.
It’s a $60 video game my man…you don’t like the game, chalk it up as an L and find something else to do and maybe we’ll see ya next year.
