I personally like this year's game more then 21, I have said many times that 21 is the outliner when it came to this series like 18 was especially when it comes to content.

I don't find the hitting to be as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Content wise 21 was way way to easy ot gave out to much to fast and the 99s arrived way to soon. The fact you could get a 99 Degrome and not actually have to play the game was so wrong. Do I think there needs something else added program wise that is a longer grind like a series affinity or something yes but nothing that should be better rewards then the main program or the BR/WS rewards

I feel like the OP as well. The grinds this year are just not engaging enough for me. Same over & over. Rather then enjoying the game, it feels more like a chore to do same stuff over & over. What I always enjoyed about DD is playing with past players and better cards than LS Series. But for tthe last 3 years the full season grind to complete all collections for the highest prize cards just have been exciting me less & less & even more so this year. I'm not even sure if I will complete the Future Of Franchise Program. Probally only go half way to get all the No Sell cards. But all those Show Pack Bundles at the end does not appeal to me because pack odds with good pulls for me are non existent. I feel most likely I will soon abandon DD & focus more into Franchise & RTTS. I have been getting more enjoyment this year from those 2 modes within the little of each of them I played this year so far.

Dude it happens when you play a game for years. I recommend taking 1-2 years off from it. I know it’s tough to do, but the long break will do you good. I did this with MUT. I basically took 21 and 22 off with occasionally playing it but never getting submerged in it. I’ve been playing MUT since 2015, so years as well. Now I’m actually excited for MUT 23. Been having fun playing the beta of all things.

I always got bored of the lack of content in MUT. Are they planning anything different in 23?

I haven’t heard of anything yet, but I’m really hoping they add a mini type seasons like the show did this year. Maybe they’ll announce UT additions soon

I usually only play every other year or two. I can't understand how people play sports games all year and restart and repeat constantly.

Im still enjoying it. I played 20 nonstop during the pandemic, didn't play a single inning of 21. Then 22 felt fresh again.

21 was perfect for people with jobs and kids who can't dedicate their time to playing this game for more than 1-5 hours a week.

There’s just nothing fun about it any longer. The grinding is all tedious and constantly repeated. The conquest is brutally repetitive. The programs are all the same thing over and over.

The pitching is far too easy to control, making virtually anyone capable of giving up only a fluke homer here and there but otherwise dominating most offenses, especially at mid levels of RS.

And the hitting is next to impossible when guys can constantly dot corners and edges with ridiculous breaking balls and impossibly quick fastballs, and I’m on a 1ms response monitor.

And when you do get a good contact, the fielders can now make ridiculous diving plays consistently.

Addiction is a hard thing to break, we come back again and again to play a game that drives us crazy and largely wastes our time, we have become insane because of it.

This game is the only thing I complain about in life. It makes me a worse person. I’ve been playing for so many years that it’s a tough thing to break, I want to so badly. The past two years especially have truly sucked for the show franchise. It has never felt worse.

It ain’t that serious man. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t play it

Just take a break dude lol. Video games are meant to be fun/distraction from real life. If it’s not fun, don’t play it. Play something else or find a new hobby for a bit.

This year would be ok if they had left the market the same as last year. I mean, hitting would still suck but at least there were other things to have fun with. They made it easy to make stubs last year, and as a result you could try just about any card you wanted. That was one of the coolest thing SDS has ever done. But I guess the bonuses were thin at Xmas time so back to screwing the fan base.

Also, I quit once for 6 months. I truly love baseball and that’s the ONLY reason I play. I don’t even have any other games. Sometimes it’s good to take a break.

I've left The Show for Fortnite and I'm in my 40s. Last year I quit in July, this year June, next year I think I'll quit this all together. Too hard to hit enough to have fun especially as a newer player. Stubs are only found through your wallet or devoting your life to this game and it gets boring too quickly. I'll just have to live with my memories of Baseball Stars.

You don't need to play a lot in this game to get a good team, also you really don't need no stubs neither

I play an hour ever day and someday I don't play at all, and my team is stacked also got a ton of stubs

This game ain't that bad it just takes practice and patience

I get burnt out sometimes too. It is why I didn't buy this years game. I am still trying to get everything in 20 and 21 done and honestly from what I have seen online 22 is kind of a glorified roster update. If you really feel that you are grinding too much then just find another game for a while. Eventually you will get around to this one again.

Yep, I agree with you. For me its the obsession with MLB baseball that makes me come back each year.

The fact that we are forced to hit pitches that real life hitters would never think about swinging at is lame.

I've cried about it on here 1000 times before that there is no such thing as a meatball in this game and that control is OP. No one agreed so its nice to see someone with my argument.

It stinks because all the time invested in this game will be evaporated by next April when the new game comes out.

Sounds like you have daddy issues. You’re real problem is your hate for your father. Not MLB the Show
