I just play each as they are quick and even doing that it’s only 20-25 minutes each time for me at least. I don’t mind lefty-lefty so Carpenter, Kelenic, Gorman are pretty much always on my team and Suarez too if I can get him. Don’t be afraid to bunt guys over so always look for the Bunt Cheese quirk to make it even easier. Lead Off Magic is nice too as it helps get baserunners.

Thanks, I have only tried it twice and I definitely need work on my lefty-lefty matchups. Are you just selling the cards now because you have them all? I've been slow to go on the program as I've been watching more baseball than playing the past few days and I already feel behind even though I've finished the conquest 2x.

Yeah - have all the cards so now just doing it because it’s been a pretty easy way to bank some stubs and it’s kind of fun. Will do the Conquest mostly though as that takes an hour but let’s you parallel players so a bit more time effective than Showdown. Looking forward to the Postseason Event though as that is always a really good one.

Haha, yeah, that would hurt my feelings, the Cards are usually great in the postseason, especially when they “sneak” in like this. If I’m not mistaken they had the same type of season in 2011 and ended up winning the WS.

Yeah, they do have a knack for winning when they are mediocre all year and wale up in September. Trash talking aside though, I don't expect to sneak past the Dodgers. They are the deepest, most relentless club I've ever seen.

I'm also thinking Extreme is coming since it came out roughly the same time last year, but you never know.

It would be interesting to have a collection of all those programs for a big reward like Griffey or something, but if that's true I'd never get him, not finishing the extreme program.

If they would lock Griffey in behind a card that is going for 1M stubs and has over 300 Buy Orders; they would lose a TON of players.

At this point they’re pretty confident they can do anything they like and lose no players. All we do is complain to nobody in threads here on TSN.
