Lou Gehrig Triple Crown card should be a monster and I think the hint could mean Billy Wagner. I might have to commit to pushing for 30 wins this season. I imagine many people will be holding on to these rewards instead of selling.

I think you're right about Wagner. These are definitely rewards a lot of people will want.

I think the milestone cards overall have been a great series. Between the art (which suits my minimalist stylings) and the hallmark periods, one of my favorite series.

I couldn’t get Lou last year as we had the end reward for the extreme program, so I’ll definitely look to pick him up.

And Wagner completes the elite LH pen. I’m not skilled enough to reach WS itself, so will be buying one of these.

Milestone cards are great except for no hitter cards IMO

Awesome! 1M bids at the drop for me as RIB Showdown is getting me over 2 packs / hour at this point 🤣

Speaking of Milestone Cards, bout time for the Hershiser 59 consecutive scoreless inning card!

Yup... The only thing that concerns me here is that his windup was altered and he's nowhere near as deceptive as he was before.

And it has to be Wagner (from Google): A natural-born right-hander, Wagner learned to throw left-handed after fracturing his arm twice in his youth in Marion

Why the exception? Think it is lesser of a milestone?

What’s your approach? Jump right to end, or playing each of the bosses?

No, the no hitter cards just ruined any pitcher that doesn't have more than 110 H/9. Although No hitters and Cycles are definitely less of a milestone than anything else those cards have to offer

I just play each as they are quick and even doing that it’s only 20-25 minutes each time for me at least. I don’t mind lefty-lefty so Carpenter, Kelenic, Gorman are pretty much always on my team and Suarez too if I can get him. Don’t be afraid to bunt guys over so always look for the Bunt Cheese quirk to make it even easier. Lead Off Magic is nice too as it helps get baserunners.

Thanks, I have only tried it twice and I definitely need work on my lefty-lefty matchups. Are you just selling the cards now because you have them all? I've been slow to go on the program as I've been watching more baseball than playing the past few days and I already feel behind even though I've finished the conquest 2x.

2 of my favorite players to use, needless to say just sold everything I had going for 100k or less that I could. Now sitting at 1.8 million stubs so I should be able to aford both.

Yeah - have all the cards so now just doing it because it’s been a pretty easy way to bank some stubs and it’s kind of fun. Will do the Conquest mostly though as that takes an hour but let’s you parallel players so a bit more time effective than Showdown. Looking forward to the Postseason Event though as that is always a really good one.

Gross. Might be hard if the Cards upset them on Wednesday.

Haha, yeah, that would hurt my feelings, the Cards are usually great in the postseason, especially when they “sneak” in like this. If I’m not mistaken they had the same type of season in 2011 and ended up winning the WS.

What helps me is to have speed guys on my bench to pinch run and get some steals, It has been easy to steal in these showdowns, Need a speed guy to pinch run for the pitcher in the first two. They do take no less than 30 min to do.
