Go to loadout and change his type like slugger is 1B it tells you position on the top right of the archtype you start with 1B, CF, SP, and Catcher
This helped me turn him into a catcher finally...THANK YOU.

I love the next gen gameplay. The game play is stunning & absolutely gorgeous. I also love the online gameplay, It’s been very smooth & hasn’t had the usual lag as past versions have. I love that contact hitters matter again. Basically game play is an A+ in my opinion & I’m having alot of fun playing the game.
I hate the navigational menu. It is not user friendly at all. I feel like it takes me 5 minutes to find what mode I’m looking for. I had to ask people where the daily challenges were located & it took 4 people before someone figured it out. It’s just not a well organized & easy to work setup.
I also hate the CAP or whatever it’s called now. In the past I’ve always gone & setup my CAP as my catcher & got him fully equipped & started grinding. This year I still haven’t figured out how to change it from a 2nd baseman to a catcher & nobody seems to know either so I’m just not gonna use the CAP this year.
Final thoughts...If they could put The Show 20 navigation & CAP with The Show 21 gameplay you would have the perfect baseball game.
Rookie is tough...You gotta just fight through it, Once you get to the All-Star levels it’ll feel better. Patience man.

It’s apparently just an Xbox issue...When you are on the option to turn off cross play and press the A button, It refreshes the screen & makes the noise but is NOT turning it off. Two of my friends checked and it’s doing the same thing. Please fix this so we can just play fellow Xbox people.

He is a 2 way player for me in RTTS and I have him in my DD lineup as a position player but see no way to also have him pitch.
You have to change the loadout to a pitcher loadout before the game starts. He cannot be a fielder and pitcher in the same game of DD
How do you change your Cap from the default 2nd baseman to a catcher?

Everytime I’ve been matched up with a PS player, I’ve been bunted to death. I’m just done with it & want to play a normal baseball game.

In “my profile” it says you can turn off crossplay if you don’t want to play against other users on other platforms. But I can’t find where to do this.

Everytime I cancel a order I’m not getting the stubs back either. This is a nightmare. How will they fix this?
So in the video they used the live series Bryce Harper that was an 87 overall at stage 2....So if you use him & rack up a bunch of the required stats - Does his overall keep going up & eventually at level 5 would he be a 98 or 99? Am I understanding this correctly?

I've always wanted to play MLB The Show and I look forward to finally being able to play it (Diamond Dynasty) tomorrow at midnight! As a brand new player who has never played before, but very used to playing 2k's MyTeam, what are the best things I should do right away?

Conquest is good for rewards but time consuming and boring. If you can win your showdowns imo that’s one of the best places to spend your time early on. With some luck you could get both tatis and bauer day one..but when heading into RS remember live series guys not named trout aren’t usually your best option

You’re not going to get Trout day one unless you are extremely lucky & pull him....Unless you spend $200-$300 on stubs & just buy him.
Last two years trout was hot in packs I pulled him both launch nights and one of them it was in the very first pack
That’s awesome but that’s also extremely lucky. This guy is saying he’s not wanting to buy stubs. The chances of him pulling Trout in one of the pre-order packs is highly unlikely. Possible...But highly unlikely.

It won't. I would think most people don't dashboard because they are trying to screw you out of prestige stats. They quit because they just gave up a homerun and are losing. They would not quit if they were 6 runs ahead and the player you are trying to prestige hit a solo homer.
THIS...Yes, It sucks to get dashboarded. But you can’t stop people from turning off a video game when they get frustrated. Rage quitting has been & always will be part of gaming...What I would like to see as a solution is this - The MLB2K games used to have it that when someone would quit, The cpu would take over the game & you would finish against the cpu. This way everyone wins - You get to keep all your stats & the upset player gets to go play COD & cool off. I see no reason why SDS couldn’t do this as well.
I’m gonna go with Max Scherzer...Fits the bill.

Even if he is, that just means he'll rise to 600K and settle there for most of the game cycle. I don't get how so many of you don't understand that as time goes on, everyone's stub count goes up...so will his price. The earlier you buy him the better.
Oh I totally agree with your logic & reasoning and I will definitely be buying him launch night, I just think it’s hard to have any possible value tied to him right now when we’ve never had a market this enormous. There’s just no way of knowing his specific value ahead of time.
