You're making my argument for me though. The input quality hasn't changed and yet the outcome has.

I packed a ton. Then yesterday opened 180 without a diamond. It's a gamble, the people who think you get a diamond in every 50 packs, are in a basement with a tinfoil hat on.

Showdown pisses me off. Half the time you don't get your rewards, disappearing baserunners and the worst is when you only need 4 runs you get 3 without a single out, then its just cpu dots, warning track shots, perfects off the pitchers leg right to the third baseman. 15 straight outs.

Now you’ve stared noticing these things you’ll see multiple instances a day. I used to go nuts and clip them all, but I had to stop and just play the game at face value for what it is, it was driving me insane, frankly. Highlights include the old floating pitch you described, baserunners running backwards, line drives 5 feet above an infielder headed for the outfield hitting an invisible wall and down into the glove for an out, teleporting pitches that warp in mid air, crazy sweeping tags that result in runners being safe despite the ball being there an age before the runner.......

Perfect perfect isn't a guarantee hit, its just max exit velocity, launch angle is huge there and if you hit it right at some one.

But you want to explain how Good Okay works when the ball was nearly squared up in the PCI for a weak sub 80mph exit velocity, that has been my biggest problem hitting.

Doesn't change the fact that the market controls prices. SDS CAN control prices if they wanted to, but they're not just going to increase the supply of Mike Trout just because you don't like his price.

Incorrect. SDS does control the cost of players on the market. If 1% of players open a pack with Trout, his price is relative to that. Is 10% open a pack with Trout, his price will drop in relation to that amount. No one will ever keep more than one of any card, so SDS "gating" the release of top cards, keeps the price high. Which is why there are "high diamond" packs and why you'll see more Trout cards in packs once the game slows down.

Day one game hitting was special

How about just play the game naturally and you probably wont ever have to worry about it.

Smoltzie at CP was one of the best ever he saved 55 games in 2002 which was his first season as a closer he had a 3.25 Era which doesn't sound great but his 2nd appearance on the year he gave up 8 ER in an inning. The next 78 IP he gave up 21 ER and saved 55 games...which is right around a 2 ERA. in 2003 he pitched 64 innings with a 1.12 ER only 8 runs allowed and 48 hits with 8 BBs 2004 2.80 Era with 45 saves.

I don't know what kind of card it will be but if it is gonna be his only RP card it should be 98+ Hitters didn't have a chance the three years he closed. He was 35, 36, and 37 yes old those years...

He had a 128 ERA+ in 2002, 385 in 2003, and 156 in 2004.

128 and 156 ERA+ is really nothing special for relievers. 385 is very good though.

As a side note, people don’t realize just how incredible Britton’s 2016 season was lol.

I’ve had some issues playing as the away team, I keep getting matched with guys from P.R or the D.R I haven’t had an issue playing as the home team
