Between 'Contact' swinging for homruns on balls outside of the PCI, to Perfect Power swings leading to ground balls in the upper 3rd with Joey Gatto, there's no reason to play this game. Input means nothing!
Don't tell me to "get good". Make a better game.

I hit a 3 run bomb on a SH*T PCI placement to win on a Contact swing...after getting no hit for 9 innings and having several nearly perfect contacts. This game is garbage.
It's not complaining to point out that hitting this game is broken and makes no sense. Saying it's 'just a game' doesn't excuse the fact that you winning or losing is determined by the game and not your inputs.

of course you were. you only played 18 games. you never reached the point of playing anyone good yet. and its pretty easy to make "great contact" early on
You're making my argument for me though. The input quality hasn't changed and yet the outcome has.

I get that, pulling a very early and outside for a single happens, not as often in real life, but it happens. It's the utter nonsense that gets me.
I hit a dead center pci call, with Good timing, with Babe Ruth and got a weak fly out. Next inning, my opponent went back to back with players with less power, on balls they didn't even have in the PCI...like clearly outside of the solid yellow...that s not luck...that's the game picking the winner.

Anyone else feel like the game is picking winners and lovers. I went 13-2 the first season and dominated most games I played, all the way into the deep 500s.
Last 3 games I've played I've out hit my opponents and lost 2 of the 3 games. Lost a game 2-1 and had EVERY out was on balls with 12+ in PCI...I had 3 hits and only struck out 4 times. That's 23 12+ PCI...
Am I the only one seeing this?

Anyone know the pack odds this year? I've opened 30+ Balling packs and 200+ free packs, I've gotten one diamond. Not complaining, cause they're free packs, just wondering if I'm the only one with bad luck.

My RTTS player is an SS...then shows up as a 2B in DD. Then I get an Architype card for LF...when I am trying to create a Catcher!
WTF?! Beyond frustrated.
It'd be less bad if my stats would improve, my RTTS gains don't apply to DD though. And neither does my gear, so I'm stuck being a trash player.
Since I can't even get onto a server today, might as well kill times asking SDS to fix their game or offer refunds. I'm unable to play the game more time than I am able to get online, seems like a justified reason for a refund.
We all know that'll never happen. So please, SDS fix these issues;
Can't change your myplayer position, or improve their stats in RTTS. I've gotten "new archetypes", for a different position than the myplayer I created; why is this the case? Correct the the fact that gear doesn't work, among other inventory issues in the game.
Showdown isn't hard, that's not an excuse to fail to give vouchers 1/3rd of the times I win it though. Fix this.
The market is so slow, I've given up on selling cards and refuse to even attempt collections. Poor design and planning is the only excuse for this.
Allow me to actually play the game! "Grind 99" is a cute slogan, too bad I can't play BR for more than one game before being booted off the game. Oh, and do give me the L in event games, when the server drops the Fling game!

Played an event game just now and gace up a 2 run bomb to Hanley. Not mad when guys hit homeruns, the path of the ball seemed very odd though...
I replayed and for several frames, the ball hun motionless in the air, ahead of the person swinging, on a pitch he was VERY late on. Gave him a perfect...wtf?
With the game being played in realtime, it either picked the best time possible to freeze or the game chose to give him an HR...i lean to the latter. Wonder why i never go on runs of more than 7-8 games without losing..
Ichiro is the hidden legend...he was in the game till he retired.
I dont play much online with this account, mostly cause its a crapshoot. I have to agree though, getting the friendly and declining it, usually leads to me taking the L...in a games I out hit/contact the guy.
Kluber is easy to hit after a couple innings. It is annoying seeing him every game though. I dont use him anymore, unless i need a long distance arm out of the pen...specifically because people hate seeing him so much. They should let you pick, just limit a guy to once per 4 games, no matter how much stamina he has left as an SP.
If you use production software to track fps, the number of frames for x mph pitch, ie a 99 mph fastball, does change in online play. This is either due to lag, poor coding or (my opinion) the game pre selects someone to hinder/help. Its not in your heads. The pitch speeds are not represented in the game the same way game to game, even when using the same pitcher.
