You actually can turn off the extra innings rule I believe before the start of Franchise it gives you the option

So Do I need to start a franchise team then?
I just think it's weird how I have the settings on Simulation, and it turned that on for me.

I don't see why it wouldn't, it's been in game as long as i can remember. XBOX shouldn't be any different.

SDS has been very adament about wanting New Players with XBOX to be able to have same experience that playstation users been having for past 15+ years.

Unfortunately unforeseen by everyone it is only available on ps4 this year. But looking back the feature was removed when the jump to ps3 to ps4 happened.

If you are on ps4, the main screen there is a gear and you can access sounds of the show there.

well good thing I didn't buy this then. I was really thinking of buying the xbox version to give them a chance.

(the default music is always terrible. hope they add it in a future update. Honestly I don't see how removing things is an "update" This was one of my favorite things, lol.)

Yeah I hope so too. I basically only use my music any way.
The default music is usually terrible any way.

I definitely will not buy MLB21. I have players from 18, 19 and 20 in my game and with all the added stuff you can't get through a career in one year especially if you have more than one player. Eliminating the Y2Y transfer was really stupid

Yeah the same with me. my mains are from 18 originally as well.
Sucks, Cause I was really looking forward to trying them on the Xbox Version.

I've been playing my SP and 3B since then, and they've built a pretty big career so far.
I don't play it enough to warrant starting over yearly
Especially how I'd never get out of my rookie contract by the years end.
Since you're eligible for free agency after 6 seasons.
I maybe at best play a season and a half or two in a year.
I'm on my 8th on those.

You make a point.
They are cutting content, but asking for more money.

I guess i'll be sticking with 20 from now on.
I might get 21 on a deep deep discount just to see what's up, but if y2y is gone for good then yeah I don't see a point of buying it yearly anymore.

It's the same reason for the other sport games.

This is probaby going to be a pass for me then.
I've been putting an awesome career for my 3B
and SP.
And I don't feel like starting over, Nor do I play it enough to justify starting over yearly. I maybe finish one or two seasons in a year.
I'm on my 8 Season in June 2027 for both of them.

My guess is the reason is there would be so many gaps in the data, especially for save files from 14, 15, 16 that accommodating those gaps would just not be worth it. This started to become evident in 19 with a batter’s career vs pitcher stats not being part of the presentation.

oof well yeah I was excited to try on Xbox, but guess that won't be happening...

Well I guess I'm staying with 20 from now on.

woah this would be pretty great if they could work it out, and it looked good. There is a big difference in just thrown together first person, and well Crafted 1PoV.
