@theBlindRhino_PSN that would be one way to go. I’d have lots of FOMO the first half of the year. It just seems like a missed opportunity. They keep limiting content. The US MAP isn’t repeatable, They stopped doing Run it Back, Team Affinity was just a voucher this time around. It doesn’t make much sense.

I’m sure a bunch of people will jump on me for saying this but I feel like I need to ration the content right now because there is no Team Affinity.

I play a couple hours a night after my family goes to bed. So no I’m not a “needs to touch grass” type.

I still have plenty to do but considering it’s still the week of the All Star game and I could easily knock out everything in a few days, that is a bummer. That is where Team Affinity should come in. I like that we got to use the cards immediately but they absolutely should have given us program rewards paths for TA. It’ll be far worse when Finest comes out because the game will effectively be over with nothing to work toward.

While I love Dave Parker (The Cobra!!!!) , I can’t imagine he will be the next collection. He’s not really a name that gets players excited. To go from Ted Williams to Dave Parker would be a bit of a let down. My guess is Billy Wagner or Ichiro. Yes he would be a cover athlete but they also want to entice people to keep playing this time of year.

@Teak2112_MLBTS we get a map tomorrow too I believe. Overall the content has been good. The Draft made up a bit for a week Team Affinity. The issue is, anyone who plays this game regularly can get through all content In a week TA usually lasts me about a month or more and is great to fill in the gaps of content.

@mietha_MLBTS look at the end of the day, they are a company trying to make money. So whatever they do is fine. It just isn’t a good look. The more stuff like this they do, the more it turns people off from playing their game. I love this game and even when they drive me nuts with their choices, it’s still the only baseball game in town so I’ll play it.

This was just kind of an odd choice and a bit unnecessary. The silver lining is the repeatable goal on the map. That was a good move. Not only does it make the cards attainable but it also gives us more content to play.

@capardo_XBL exactly. I’m right where you are. I finally had some success the last couple weeks. The margins seem to have closed again like you said. I bet after the All Star week madness, they will open up again.

@reardons_MLBTS I definitely appreciate this post and can relate. I’m 43 so I definitely didn’t grow up with the instant gratification technology but it was introduced in My young adulthood. The only thing that bothers me is the way it was represented. I made stubs off the move so it worked in my favor.

@capardo_XBL have you been flipping a lot? I’ve found some decent flip opportunities recently. I did check the margins and you’re right, a lot of them have disappeared

@YOSHI24_XBL they released the pack with a time limit. That creates a sense of urgency. It literally implies time is running out. So buy now.

@capardo_XBL I disagree. The margins are fantastic. I’ve made 100K already flipping them. They screwed up. I wonder how they will price tonight’s HRD cards.

For the record I didn’t buy any packs and never do, the reason this was far more of a rip off is because normally they do a rare and base round so people buy the packs hoping for the rare buy knowing it’s a long shot. They made these packs appear valuable with the time limit leading people to believe the value would go up. I always buy the players not the packs for this reason during a flash sale because they plummet in price. After the sale is over, I sell them back and make a solid profit. Now we know for tomorrow and Tuesday.

The top 5 pack which was 75K??? Those cards are now as low as 25k on the market. Way to rip your customers off SDS. That’s sad

Are they ever going to drop the program?

I spent 5 mins exploring the content and was over it. I’ll jump on later but I feel like I have to ration the content which is sad.

@jaychvz_XBL yes I will. But I would have played so much more if there were conquests and TA programs. It is just really weird that they didn’t do any program paths for TA this time. That would have kept me busy for weeks. Instead, I’ll be done with the offline content In a few days. It’s just a bad move. I don’t even care about the quality of cards being in packs versus free. I just want playable content and there is very little.

SDS thinks cards are content. I like cards but it would be nice to have stuff to play. Was looking forward to TA but they pretty much did away with it.

Here are the cards, and here are missions to use them on to get more cards???? It’s not rocket science SDS. If you want me to play the game, give me lots of game to play.

Am I the only one who is letdown by the lack of content? What is the point of Team Affinity? It’s cool to get all 30 players unlocked but then what do I do with them to grind for rewards and stubs? The Team Affinity program paths historically were loaded with rewards, same with the conquest maps. Today there were none of either. That is a massive L

And no TA program rewards or missions to help you get there
