Ok now it’s just funny, I worked it so he used both pick off attempts and then I took two leads and went as early as I could, the throw was high and in foul territory and I still was out by a foot.

I have never had a problem with these moments. But he has 50 speed. I took 2 extra leads and left before the pitcher started toward home and still got thrown out by a mile.

Can this moment be done and if so….how did you do it?

This is interesting. If @SaveFarris_PSN is right and it’s for players you can earn in the other Mini Seasons it is useless unless they are sellable. If MS is a useless program drop I’m going to be beyond bummed.

They have brutally messed up TA this year. Here are 30 mini programs to complete but no game mode to complete them on. The rewards are all the same. 50 points to get the card and once you have it, no reason to use it. The neon mission in the my journey just gets you to the Finest voucher which we know will render the final TA useless.

When they did this by division and had a long program path with varied rewards and missions and a conquest map for each division, that was perfect. You got henchmen to help you along and you could plug in the bosses to help you finish the program giving you a good reason to use them. Why mess with a good thing.

I do believe they had a plan for TA that either didn’t “work as intended” or they changed their mind. I realize I’m like a jaded ex girlfriend but I have had a sour taste in my mouth since the All Star Team Affinity was just a voucher exchange. This program is cool but will be over pretty fast and then we know Finest is just another voucher exchange. I really feel like they had it right in 2021. 6 big program paths with henchmen and bosses in each. Rewards were varied from packs, stubs, equipment, player cards. Each path was like 150 points. If you wanted to blaze through you could do the exchanges, if you wanted to take your time you choice just play the game.

They really messed up Team Affinity this year, no question. The huge All Star week content lasted me a week and I haven’t had much to do since. Yes the programs that come out are fine but they are quick.

The best way for them to do Team Affinity is to have a large program path with multiple cards to colllect. A henchman and a boss. It needs to be time consuming for the grinders and have decent rewards throughout. I always liked when there were multiple player card rewards and then you add those players along the way. People will always complain. But SDS shouldn’t cater to those who want to play less. If their goal is to get us to play their game more, then they need to provide the content that will keep us busy.

Like the OP said, this feels like the TA finale. Finest will just be a card dump and then nothing to use those cards on.

I assume because it’s a treasure trove. It’s what we hope every Map will be. I remember one year I made over 100k stubs from the shark map (obviously I got lucky with come choice packs). But even if you get all base round stuff, it’s still pretty lucrative. Plus the JT cycle card is huge. I’m pretty sure it came with a Chris Davis card one year. This is definitely more exciting than that was.

How was it anticlimactic? The JT cycle card is a unicorn people have been asking for 2 years. Plus we don’t know what’s in the map. It’s loaded every year.

I think you’re right on the money. I really really hope they pivot for Finest. If they just give us the cards like they do with the All Star Game and have nothing to work towards, the game is basically over at that point. It makes no sense.
