I think to your question, the Phillies and Padres are likely to have solid lineus, while the Mets' lineup could either break out or crash and burn. We'll have to see how it goes but should be an interesting year for quite a few teams.
    Here's to a good '26!

Alright, today’s topic- which AL team has the best lineup?

It feels odd to be out of the Astros era. It really is impressive what they accomplished (trash car or not) from 2017-2024. 2 World Series titles. 4 AL pennants, 7 straight trips to the ALCS and 7 division titles. Their lineups were a huge part of that.

This year I think the Mariners, Yankees, Blue Jays and Orioles have the best lineups. You?

    You?

I think you're right on, so I'll focus on a teams I'm excited to watch:

    1. Oakland/Sacramento/Las Vegas Athletics: Kurtz, Wilson, Langeliers, Soderstrom, Rooker, Butler. I mean... these guys stack up pretty well.

    2. Detroit Tigers: I'd like to see Max Clark and Kevin McGonigle make their debuts.

    3. Red Sox: Disappointed that they lost Bregman, but want to see how their youngsters do and see if Trevor can have another decent year.

I don't believe the Dodgers are an automatic ''shoe in to 3-peat''
though they are the best team on paper and the Best Team Money Can Buy also too as well and could probably win 110 games but I think when October base ball arrives they are going to find out they aren't even in the top 10 in ''hunger''. And never underestimate the hungry team. I would like to say Baltimore is going to win it all but since its been over 40 years since our last championship I don't even say ''Wait till next year.'' Instead I just wait until next year and observe the inevitable and then I repeat 3-peat 4-peat 5-peat again and wait until year after year and watch Baltimore be Baltimore. Its far too early for me to guess who exactly will win it all, maybe by May I will know but for now I'm writing off Baltimore and the Dodgers.

No doubt it's the Blue Jays. They added Okamoto on top of Guerrero Jr., Springer, Clement, Varsho, Kirk, Barger, and hopefully a bounceback year from Santander. No real weak links other than Gimenez.

@MarioMendoza935_XBL great point. The A’s wherever they may roam have a pretty great up and coming offense. If the kids hit like they did last year, they could score a lot of runs.

I don't like the fact that the Phillies can destroy the 3 peat due to the fact that the team manager said that Bryce Harper isn't elite like he was back then, which can motivate Bryce Harper and drastically improve his performance.

I'm with you on this, this is the 15th time in world series history that a team has won back to back but of the previous 14 times only 4 times has the team won the 3rd( 3 by the yankees one by the A's

@christuffer_nsw it wasn't the manager that said that about Harper it was Dave Dombroski the owner

I mean obviously nobody is a shoe in. A 3 peat is incredibly rare. But I will argue we have never seen a team so complete as the current Dodgers save for the 1998 Yankees. We can’t compare to anything prior to 95 because of all the rounds of playoffs they have to go through.

This team has the financial might to plug any hole at any time with the best available player. Their bullpen was bad which is amazing considering how many elite arms the signed. But it wasn’t what they planned so they go out and buy Edwin Diaz. They don’t have an elite RFer they pay Kyle Tucker money as if her were Barry Bonds.

But I agree, they aren’t a shoe in, but definitely odds on favorite.

Whew that sure was some kinda WS this year. Jays nearly had em until Rojas…if it is to be the Dodgers again so be it but please let it be another incredible Series like this last one and I don’t even care who wins….

…as long as it’s the Mets, of course.

Dodgers don’t seem to care about regular season record anymore. Their talent should secure the West title. If they go into the playoffs healthy I believe they will be the heavy favorites to threepeat. They never played great this past postseason except for game four against Milwaukee and the first few innings of game three against Toronto. Only way I see them not winning is with a major injury to Ohtani or losing two or three quality pitchers before the postseason.

    @BxnnyMxn__MLBTS

This was easily the best World Series we’ve seen since the Cubs and Indians in 2016. Game 3 a Game 7 both belong in same category as Game 6 in 1975 or my personal favorite The David Freese Game- Game 6 in 2011. Game 4, 5 and 7 in 2001 or Game 6 and 7 in 1991. It was all time classic series. I would love to see another series like it. I think the Jays need to make an another big move for their lineup and shore up their bullpen a bit. The offseason moves they made have been great but not that Bichette is gone, someone needs to make up that offense.

That 2016 game 7 was truly epic…who could ever forget LeBron James losing it in the press box flexing like Freddie Freeman after his huge walk off slam in ‘24!!! Except LeBron had to eat his hat about 40min later lol. For me personally it’ll be Mookie Wilson’s cue shot that got past Buckner in G6 of the ‘86 series. I love baseball
