This is the most idiotic post ever. Babe Ruth wouldn’t make the majors in 2026. He couldn’t hit a pitch in the 90s let alone over 100. Nor could he hit that velocity while trying to hit all the other movement coming his way.

If Ohtani played in the 1920s since he’s not black I assume they might let him play. He’d hit 100 homers and throw an endless number of perfect games with the stuff he throws.

As for the actual post. Doubt they’ll pay money for new equipment vs former players if they have to pay for equipment. I’ll ignore his rant about face scans again. He knows the answer from SDS so he’s not well in the head.

I’m a huge Clark fan and weirdly this game must hate him. They still don’t have the 22 up in the retired numbers section of Oracle Park and as of last year players in my franchise were wearing 22 on the Giants. I haven’t gone far enough into the franchise this year to know if anyone will wear it this year.

I probably won’t get the game after this year either. I don’t dislike it as much as you guys. I just don’t see a reason to get it. I got it for the WBC stuff and for Murakami to be in my franchise. Once Pro Spirits comes out I’ll play it much less.

I can’t wait to see what Pro Spirit looks like these days. Counting down for that game in July.

Not in franchise. The point of franchise is to assume the role of GM and play out that team from 2025 into the future on your own with zero attachment to real life baseball world.

I could go on forever but I think foul ball rates are asinine. They’re double real life games. The game has an incredibly high amount of action with 2 outs for the me and the CPU and none with 0 or 1. I play DD and franchise so I don’t play with the sliders but use Dynamic Difficulty. My pitching is out of the 1910s and offense is ridiculous or stagnant depending on what day of the week it is.

There was a time they didn’t do anything with player models at all once the game launched. Clearly before it was out for other consoles so for me this is not important. Pre-existing save files don’t get the updates anyways. They are there for players he named but to get them you have to start a new franchise at each new scan for the younger players or don’t play until all the scans are done.

I usually wait a couple weeks after buying the game to start my franchise in hopes that new players will have their models updated. I thought after last weeks update, and all the models added (even though I would’ve loved to see Kristian Campbell), I’d finally be able to start. Then I saw all the glitch place holder faces (Josh H. Smith, Hyeseong Kim, Addison Barger, Spencer Jones, etc). I couldn’t start it looking at those faces lol Then this week comes and goes and none of them are updated.

It’s now June. So, my question is, how many of you franchise people have been holding off on starting and what do you need to see before you start?

I started when the game came out. Everyone got updated except Hyeseong Kim. Which is odd since he had the correct scan in DD on launch.

You would think by now they could add a little velocity to sinkers bc apparently they max out at 95 mph for everyone ‍️. No kick change added. A lot of guys throw that now. The 2 seamer still doesn’t move at all and tops out at 97 ….

No 6 pitch mix , no home and away jersey presets so we don’t have to change our players gear every home and away game… is it that hard to add another jersey preset? Still not baby blue or color wheel so we can edit our own colors, the “light blue” they have is terrible. It’s 2026 and they haven’t fixed the bugs or any of the small details..

And last but not least, I never thought the lack of face scans of top prospects could get worse than last year but the devs proved me wrong again. They’re missing almost all of the top prospects from this year and still a bunch with out scans from last year … how do cam schlittler and Drake Baldwin still not have scans? Nolan McLean, Samuel bassallo , Chase burns , bubba chandler, cam smith, Sal Stewart

Out of the top 10 prospects this year they have 2/10 scanned… no Kevin McGonigle, max Clark, walker Jenkins, Leo de vries, Jesus made, Noah Schultz, Parker messick, colt Emerson, Carson benge, AJ Ewing, etc…..

They’re constantly updating their little card game every week tho…. The rest of the game is pure garbage and Idk why I bought this [censored]. I still haven’t even played it and it’s almost June. I wish they stayed play station only so we had another option or so they have competition to actually put effort into the game…: yall ruined baseball and the only baseball franchise and turned it into a card game….. pigs

They don’t have scans because those players don’t go get themselves scanned. Guess what else they don’t have. Most of them don’t have their real batting stances or pitching windups.

It’s what he said. I saw another post on this. There was a blanket license that expired and now every manager and coach needs to individually agree to be used.

I just hope he stays healthy enough for this to even be a conversation at the deadline.

I like franchise a lot, minus the idiotic lineups and bullpen usage (always coming in with 2 outs). The foulball rates drive me nuts. But the trades actual came out realistic for the first time I can actually remember. The players decline didn’t work as advertised though for older veterans having great seasons.

Every update makes it worse and gets me excited for Pro Spirits to release in July.

@dtc1313_psn I don’t do social media anymore. I have a personal issue with the types of people who own them. I’ll watch out for those players when I play those teams. I initially thought the open button jersey but Mookie and Teoscar both have that and Teoscar is normal and Mookie looks like what you described but like I said in real life it looks like he wears a larger jersey.

@DTC1313_PSN They should do the same with the stance socks that they do with the sleeves and let you make them longer or shorter for the guys who have the socks up to almost the knees.

Same to you on the weekend. My last name is 4 letters and is slightly off around double digit numbers in RTTS so I’ll always wear a single digit number.

I didn’t think of that. He’s listed as free agent. I’m only 53 but had a senior moment.

Love the stadium idea but that might be costly if they have to pay to use them.

Opening packs on PS5 is a breeze. This might be an XBox thing.

I also wish they’d add more equipment but they probably have to pay for these things to be in the game. They can either pay for these or pay former players.
