Mike Trout
-
I would say unlikely because he has a full no trade clause and seems very content in LA regardless of team record.
-
I dont think so. He's been excellent, and Anaheim isn't that stupid to trade away a guy who's having one of the best seasons in a while.
-
Adolis Garcia seems destined for a 1 and done with the phillies, I expect to see in the coming months lots of sports reporters to jump on the Trout to hometown with RF open next year for the phils.
I don't really expect anything from it, but they will sure talk it to death -
Problem with trout for most teams is the contract. Angels aren’t eating it unless there’s a bunch of top prospects that make it worthwhile. Granted, Trout is having a good year and staying healthy, but for how long?
Phillies can probably absorb most of that contract after this year with Walker and Casty contracts going away, but they don’t have the prospect capital the Angels want.

I know all that, that won't stop the trade rumors it will make them worse cause they'll have all that more time to talk about it.

Yeah, unfortunately it won’t stop until he either retires or goes to a different team. The media all love the local connection, it’s an easy story to write.
-
He’s batting .239. Yeah, he’s hitting HR, but excellent is a stretch.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN idk man an .896 OPS seems pretty excellent to me - it’s not like he plays all his games at Coors or anything
-
Yeah he is getting on base too. I’m wrong here.
-
I just hope he stays healthy enough for this to even be a conversation at the deadline.
