I’m announcing my departure time on MLBTS Airlines and it’s 11:41am. Just played my final 5 inning 3 inning game in which I scored another 7 runs in the 5th and I’ve had it with how terrible DD is. So adios to that mode and adios to the forum.
I’ll stick to a daily game of franchise from now until SDS finally manages to dump Microsoft and Nintendo and goes back to being a Sony exclusive. Until then, fingers crossed that Konami makes an MLB licensed game to go along side with Pro Spirits.
I wish they would the mods would make franchise tolerable again
Franchise is the only tolerable mode in this game.
I've been a diehard baseball guy my entire life and you guys offer the best sports game simulation. I bought every version since probably the 1st, but I haven't bought the game since 24, and I won't buy until it finally becomes available on PC. I've gotta think it would be financially beneficial to offer on pc, but IDK. Hopefully someday.
I guess you haven’t gotten every version since the first since you stopped in 2024 and you won’t ever buy another since you won’t buy until it’s on PC.
It also removes all the other menu volumes which I kind of like. If you turn it down low to 5 you don’t hear it but hear those. Or at least me semi deaf self does.
@stinkymcpooter_xbl I do play every game. I was able to retire super early after selling my small accounting business during COVID to a bigger accounting firm.
They have a ton of pitching and now that he’s 31 in game I thought to move him into my replacement for Tucker. I might try it and see. Thanks for the insight. I thought someone might have done it.
If I just DH Ohtani does he lose the 2 way ability and become his secondary position of RF?
The direction of the wind matters. Blowing in will make 105 an out. Blowing out will make 90 a homerun. Kind of like real life if the launch angle dictates.
I didn’t look at the amount per game but it was zero and if I didn’t fix the problem I wouldn’t have gotten to the boss card.
Enough that once I played 3 franchise games I shot past the final two rewards to get the boss for the inning. Had I not noticed and was stuck for the week I might have not got the boss if I stayed primarily in franchise. Maybe that was the plan?
We are entering my conspiracy theory territory here. I’ve had to yet again delete and re-install the game to kick start Gameplay XP during double XP weekend. It’s happened during every one they’ve done. I’m starting to smell a rat.
Everyone is making fun of you. They literally have a fraction of the equipment in the game. Mookie wears different gear every single game.
Do you think that MLB the Show will ever be on PC?
No. It’s on only Xbox and Switch because MLB forced them to do so or lose the license. If another game comes out I can see them dropping those versions and going back exclusive. I don’t see MLB forcing them to make a PC game.
Now they have two glitches with Ohtani in franchise mode. I think they are letting the interns do the programming.
Ohtani is removed as a pitcher in after 6 but is left in as the DH.
Glitch 1: Ohtani bats but Dreyer’s body is in his place. Dreyer replaced him after 6 and somehow although Ohtani batted and was fine in the 7th when he comes up an inning later in the 8th (prompting his removal for a PHer) he’s now Dreyer who isn’t on the mound either.
Glitch 2: This happens first but I call it 2 because 1 has happened before and this is new to me. Dreyer is coming out to pitch a 2nd inning and he has Ohtani’s body prompting his removal from the game.
There have been a couple of switch pictures in the majors and the minors and if the game wants to be realistic I feel they should add those cards to diamond dynasty and/ or road to the show?.
The one they have doesn’t even work anyways. When left handed batters bat he pitches left but it shows their ratings vs right handed pitchers anyways. Same for right handed batters. He throws right and it shows their ratings vs left handed pitchers. The batters are at an advantage anyways.
You must be looking hard for them because when I just go in to upload any changes to mine I don’t see any of them.
At this point I’ve given up on stadium creator. Especially after last year. They can’t even put numbers on the walls when the the walls all have preset distances. Where are the pitch timers and nets down the lines? I just don’t see the point in wasting time in there.
@datmansasith_psn Still not showing. If it helps ease your mind. A few years ago when one of the UA cleats was showing as all black I believe it fixed on the next update.

You can’t assume Babe Ruth being able to thrive because of modern equipment any more than you can assume he wouldn’t spend all his time drunk during prohibition and legally picking up escorts since he was a drunk and always at illegal brothels.
Ohtani isn't the best ever, not even top 10, don't get me wrong he is one of the best players in the game today and he is a great player .....but
he has not had a 200 hit season a 150+ runs or ribs in a season not hit 40 doubles nor double digit triples(though this is a lesser one) hasn't hit higher than .310.
For all the sports writers comparisons to Ruth, he hasn't come close to having half of a Ruth season
sure Ohtani has his 50 homer seasons and pitched too but when Ruth had his 50 homer seasons he also had 200+ hits 150+runs 150+ribs 150 + walks and hit .350-.370+
Aaron Judge has actually come closer to " Ruthian seasons" than Ohtani has.
This is the most idiotic post ever. Babe Ruth wouldn’t make the majors in 2026. He couldn’t hit a pitch in the 90s let alone over 100. Nor could he hit that velocity while trying to hit all the other movement coming his way.
If Ohtani played in the 1920s since he’s not black I assume they might let him play. He’d hit 100 homers and throw an endless number of perfect games with the stuff he throws.
As for the actual post. Doubt they’ll pay money for new equipment vs former players if they have to pay for equipment. I’ll ignore his rant about face scans again. He knows the answer from SDS so he’s not well in the head.
