I also wish they’d add more equipment but they probably have to pay for these things to be in the game. They can either pay for these or pay former players.

I let every injury happen and was gonna let Snell be injured but having Ohtani suffer a fake injury for no reason was why I quit. I can’t answer for the OP.

I did it once when Ohtani suffered a phantom injury while my DH. I was in the field and Snell was pitching. An injury occurred and it wanted me to take Snell out. I did. When Ohtani came up to bat it wanted me to take him out because it claimed I risked further injury if I let him bat. I just quit the game. So I avoided a real and fake injury all at once.

@Dolenz_PSN I was hoping the Dodgers would scoop him up instead of signing Tucker.

I didn’t think of that. He’s listed as free agent. I’m only 53 but had a senior moment.

Why does it matter? So you can play against him? If you have his card you can use him no matter what. So him being active only effects if you play vs him. Right?

I agree with what @stinkymcpooter_xbl said because I would sign players all the time for backloaded contracts and pay them tiny amounts. Never played long enough to manipulate someone into taking them off my hands as they started to fade into oblivion but that was the plan.

In 2024 they went into the next years draft. I assumed the same applied.

@StinkyMcPooter_XBL Good info. I always notice when they get called up they show them getting their new contract so I wasn’t sure if the same applied to their NIL deal.

Murakami was scanned all the way back in 23 with the WBC. So was his stance.

True again. He probably got done again through with the new 3D scan they added since 2023. Yamamoto and Roki got done over since then.

But it looks like we got an answer. I’m thankful for that but a tad bummed top prospects/players aren’t the priority when the new models are added. That being said, I’m glad we got an answer on this.

You could almost assume what I questioned and what someone else said, I think @polkrout_xbl was the one, that minor league players can’t be added until they play in the major leagues and I believe he said watch them appear once they play in the major leagues.

@bleachfro_mlbts Going off what @sds_joek_psn said and you’re thinking. Spring training started February 20th. The game launched March 17th. Possible they didn’t even finish scans for all 30 teams before launch. Logistically speaking they can’t have everyone at launch. I’ll go with what you are suggesting because it’s making sense and add some thoughts.

Minor league players might have to be on a major league roster before being added? Maybe they can add a certain number per update?

If you’re saying they made a post about it, what did it say?

It was one of the post years ago when they first started doing it in 2022 or 2023. They had a post with the player coming to their studio to get a tour and get scanned. That year they did maybe 5 players total.

I find it hilarious. The conspiracy theories tossed around for guys that are irrelevant in franchises that don’t go more than a season or 2 without major edits or lots of simulating. They literally said how scans work in the streams and in a post on this site. They had a huge post when they did the first updated face scan during a game cycle about them coming to tour the studio and see how the game is made and get their face scanned.

Thank goodness Max Clark and Cam Smith had face scans. Totally makes up for the top of the 4th being extra innings, 30% of the pitches being fouled off and relievers pitching in every game of a 3 game series.

In my franchise he was on the trade block but never got traded. I assume that’ll be the case for you unless the Tigers are more competitive.

I was being talked to and wasted around 500k stubs on the idiotic vintage series. Sure I can sell them but I definitely won’t be making back what I had because I’m not treating a video game like the stock market.
