Haven’t started my franchise yet. Anyone else?

@Shua2168_MLBTS The player model updates will actually translated onto any franchise you start. If and when they actually get around to them. Having Hyesong Kim look like a generic white guy is kind of ridiculous. But, when they do update his model it will be updated on the franchise you start.
But, I agree with you on the prospects. That's why I started creating, or borrowing created, legends. I'll use them as prospects. In fact, I inserted a whole bunch of template no flap helmet players into the free agent pool so that anybody who downloads my roster can create their own legend with no flaps. The thing that really sucks about that this year is that if you create a legendary player they won't be able to wear their number on the team they played for if it's retired. For example, used to be able to create Sandy Koufax and he could wear 32 on the Dodgers. For some reason you can't do that this year. But, if you're interested, you can look up spring training ready 2.0 in the roster vault. I have the rosters set to what they were at the start of spring training with a bunch of created players.
-
Another problem is that when they add a player with a roster update and take a player away. So, a player that was in the default roster for some reason will get removed. But, one thing they'll never do is remove The development team players they created. I don't know about you, but I didn't ask for Chris Clements or Ramone Russell or Lorne Asuncion.

@ralph13m_PSN The random removal of players IS annoying.

@ralph13m_PSN I didn’t think the glitch faces updated once you start a franchise. If they do that’d be great!
-
@bleachfro_MLBTS They have in previous years. But, with the cluster that this year has been maybe they won't. Perhaps I spoke too soon. Lol.
-
@bleachfro_MLBTS actually, I think we'll be okay. I started my franchise before Carlos Rodan got his player model update. He went from not having a beard to having a beard.
-
I started my franchise with the first live roster. The mlbts franchise evolves into its own world. I'm not concerned if a few players are missing because after a few years the rosters are populated with a lot of generated players.

@sullivanspring_MLBTS Understandable. Everyone is different. I just like to have as many updated player models as possible, especially when it’s top prospects or players from the previous year.

Different strokes for different folks.

I usually wait a couple weeks after buying the game to start my franchise in hopes that new players will have their models updated. I thought after last weeks update, and all the models added (even though I would’ve loved to see Kristian Campbell), I’d finally be able to start. Then I saw all the glitch place holder faces (Josh H. Smith, Hyeseong Kim, Addison Barger, Spencer Jones, etc). I couldn’t start it looking at those faces lol Then this week comes and goes and none of them are updated.
It’s now June. So, my question is, how many of you franchise people have been holding off on starting and what do you need to see before you start?
I started when the game came out. Everyone got updated except Hyeseong Kim. Which is odd since he had the correct scan in DD on launch.
