This sheet I put together with another guy has all golds and diamonds in the game on each team, I try to update it the day of a content drop. Let me know if you see any mistakes or if you have any suggestions.

Or maybe, he’s expressing his distress on the forums so maybe SDS could see his post or if other people agree with him? Everyone wants a better product and having the mindset of “just stop playing lol” is pretty ignorant.

This doesn't make sense. People that want to play a football game are gonna play regardless of their baseball games state. Not to mention the state of the show is always 10x better than Madden anyways. It doesn't matter if mlb the show is the greatest ever, or the worst. People are gonna play Madden for their football fix and the show for their baseball fix.

Not true, if the show had better gameplay people would be more hesitant to switch games. This is exactly what I’m talking about with the SDS defenders, there is NO EXCUSE for the game playing the same as day 1, especially with all the issues the gameplay has.

The Show does have better game play - far less exploits and "arcadey" style (cough abilities). Unfortunately, it's stale game play that takes far too long to play in most instances.

Youre also comparing apples and oranges, madden is far more complex, much more to code as you have to code 22 guys on a field. The show has the least moving parts of any game.

Freeze offs will fix themselves once madden comes out. Less players= less connection issues. Also the SDS needs to do such and such before madden comes out doesn't work. The players who are going to leave will leave anyway and the players that stay despise madden. Its the same every year

I disagree, there is ZERO excuse for freeze offs, the show is the only game that has this issue still. Also, if the game is in a good state that would keep more players on the show. The show is making it too easy right now for players to go play madden with the stale gameplay and constant freeze offs.

It’s kinda ridiculous that we are in 2021 and still have to worry about freeze offs, but here we are. Hitting has been poor once again this year, and it’s super disappointing SDS hasn’t made a single change to hitting balance besides fixing contact swing. Bad pci placement is being rewarded may more then it should, people hitting no doubters on balls no touching their pci. Good/goods on balls in the center of the pci have also lead to weak contact recently, which makes 0 sense. Don’t get me started on bunting, which again has been an issue for a few years now.

People love to hate on madden (deservedly so), but they actually make an attempt to patch their game. The uproar would be unreal in madden if they didn’t have a real gameplay patch for 3+ months, but the SDS defenders will try to justify it.

A new patch would get people more excited to play the game, as many people, including me, think the current state of the game is quite stale and unenjoyable, especially online.

I have no clue why you you decided to make a political rant on a MLB The Show forum, inferring that being gay means your a pedo is quite the opinion. But whatever makes you sleep at night.

According to baseball savant, he throws a sinker 22.3% of the time and doesn't throw a 2 seamer.

The social media guy and the developers are completely different people, I think they could tease out some players

I really wish they would tease out headliners or the POTM coming out tomorrow, I feel like it's really anticlimactic waiting till 3 and finding out ourselves. I know The Show is a lot better then MUT, but it would be nice if they took a page out of their book and did a special stream or a scheduled twitter post the night before a content drop. I know they did twitter teased last year, kinda weird they haven't done any this year. Thoughts?

I just completed all of team affinity, and I'm not sure if I'd rather complete the Jackie Robinson collection or the NL East collection. For anyone that has Jackie, how does he play? He looks really solid but I didn't hit the best with him last year. Also hoping there is a 42 player pack in the next inning conquest so the prices go down a bit.
