Freeze offs will fix themselves once madden comes out. Less players= less connection issues. Also the SDS needs to do such and such before madden comes out doesn't work. The players who are going to leave will leave anyway and the players that stay despise madden. Its the same every year

I have no issues with R2 holding, bunt dancing, replay watching, Fortnite kids leaving for Madden. Let them go play that heap of garbo

I disagree, there is ZERO excuse for freeze offs, the show is the only game that has this issue still. Also, if the game is in a good state that would keep more players on the show. The show is making it too easy right now for players to go play madden with the stale gameplay and constant freeze offs.

People say this every year about some issue that they don't like.

Those who are going to buy Madden are going to buy Madden. Nothing SDS does or does not do at this point is going to make a big difference in their retention numbers once Madden is released.

I will be back on madden as my primary game in 8 days BUT how long have desyncs and disconnect losses been in the game? YEARS. Heck, the beta had desync's in the game.

Both are terrible. What EA/maddrn at least do well is communication with their player base when issues arise.

Madden’s coming out soon, and the show may lose a good portion of their player base if they don’t release a patch to at least make the game more interesting via improved hitting sliders.

This doesn't make sense. People that want to play a football game are gonna play regardless of their baseball games state. Not to mention the state of the show is always 10x better than Madden anyways. It doesn't matter if mlb the show is the greatest ever, or the worst. People are gonna play Madden for their football fix and the show for their baseball fix.

Not true, if the show had better gameplay people would be more hesitant to switch games. This is exactly what I’m talking about with the SDS defenders, there is NO EXCUSE for the game playing the same as day 1, especially with all the issues the gameplay has.

In all fairness... The Show as a whole is better than Madden, but online play in The Show is still far behind Madden as far as servers, consistent gameplay ect. Nobody who plays this game on a regular can straight faced tell me that online play is fine in this game.... because it's inconsistent and glitchy. I have never lost a game or even played a game with lag in Madden.

I'm a die hard mlb the show fan, there is nothing this game can do that will stop me from dabbling in Madden. Then it will get stale after a Month or so. And unfortunately the game doesn't play like day one or it would be almost perfect. They took away sense of urgency and stuff like that since then. They do that every year

The Show does have better game play - far less exploits and "arcadey" style (cough abilities). Unfortunately, it's stale game play that takes far too long to play in most instances.

Youre also comparing apples and oranges, madden is far more complex, much more to code as you have to code 22 guys on a field. The show has the least moving parts of any game.

Why does it have to be either one or the other? The last time I bought madden, I still played both games as often as I could.
